On a past holiday my husband had a cocktail where the whiskey was smoked and absolutely loved it. It was just by chance that I came across the ComboJoy Whiskey Smoker Kit on Amazon so bought it for him for a surprise. This kit is brilliant and really does do the job and it is packed really well. The kits do come with different style smokers but I much preferred the barrel. The two glasses are lovely with a good weight, we didn't expect them to be such good quality to be honest! The only additional item required, apart from the whiskey, is a tin of butane gas but luckily we already had one, so no delay in trying the smoker out! He is very happy with his "new toy" and we've shown it to other people who are going to buy one. It's a brilliant gift for anyone who loves whiskey but now they can drink it with a little added "twist" to the flavour. Definitely recommend this item...it's brilliant!!

This is a great product. First time user and I was really impressed with how it came. Every item is listed how it is and I really like the design of the glass. I've used the item twice when it first arrived, and now I refuse to have a whiskey unless it is smoked! Is also a great item as a gift for various celebrations.

Got this as a Father's Day gift and it was just the perfect gift for a man. My husband loved it as it was presented as quite the luxury and special box. The torch comes empty but its really easy to fill at home and use. We love the barrel shape and love the round ice forms, the ice is easy to make and very easy to get out of the forms. We have really enjoyed this kit and it has been easy to use. Would recommend to anyone looking for a special surprise for a man.

Good portion of wood chips, glass and ice maker are also good quality. Just the torch could have been made better.

This was bought for a birthday present. They loved it. Definitely a different way to drink whiskey....different flavours and the gas lighter to light the smoker came in very handy. Birthday present well liked for a whiskey drinker.

A great kit. I bought this as a present for my husband and he enjoys experimenting with the different smoking flavours and whiskys. It has meant he always has an excuse to but different whiskys as they all change when smoked. A gift he continues to enjoy.

Solid and great gift

I purchased this smoker for my husband's birthday. He loved it! I'll try to go over the highlights of this item for others contemplating purchasing this item:1) Easy to use. There are 2 ways to use the smoker: Either with your drink of choice poured into the glass, OR you can smoke the inside of the glass first, then pour your drink into the glass after. My husband chose to use the method of the whiskey in the glass and then added the smoke.2) My husband chose the Pear wood shavings for his first sample drink. Although he said it did add some of the smokey flavor, it was very mild.3) Easy to clean and store. The packaging has been well thought out. Everything arrived in one piece.Some of the suggestions to this item (not bad, just some notes):1) When choosing your wood chips "flavor" for your various whiskey's, the fruit flavored chips seem to work best with the lighter whiskey's. The darker the whiskey, the less you can taste the fruity smoke. The "wood" flavors-walnut, oak, etc.-might pair better with the darker whiskey's. [NOTE: My husband started with a darker whiskey with the Pear wood chips. He could barely make out the fruit notes. His second sample glass, he drank a lighter whiskey with the Pear wood chips. That "pairing,"-pun intended-worked out best. Hence my comment on trying the walnut or oak chips with the darker whiskey.]2) On the first use, the chips didn't burn all the way, despite following the directions to the letter. On the second "sample," my husband kept the torch on the chips longer than the recommended time. The chips burned thoroughly and properly.3) The 2 ice ball molds are specifically for the glasses included in the gift box. We already had ice ball molds for other glasses, but those are too big for the 2 glasses with this kit.4) No. The torch doesn't come with butane in it!!! We assume that this is due to postal regulations. If you plan on purchasing this item, make sure you have butane on hand so when your item arrives, you're not stuck without being able to use your torch.No complaints about this product. Easy to use. Checked off all the boxes for the whiskey lover in my life!

Coolest smoker yet! friends love it and great aroma. Last a long time as you get alot of wood chips. Most of the wood seems to smell the same but really liek this for sure.
