High quality dental tool but I wish it wasn't very pointy like a needle. It's scary to use one mistake and you'll stab your gums with it.

My dental hygienist missed some tarter (annoying) so I bought this to scrape it off and it did the job. My advice if you do this is to use a very soft hand, be very gentle to not damage your enamel or gums.

It’s a little sharper than my old one

I use dental tools to scrape tartar off my dog's teeth. Most instruments have picks at both ends. I've been taping off one end to make sure I don't stab myself or the dog if the dog moves. Having one end blunt is wonderful. This scraper is also shorter than the tools with scrapers at both ends, so it's much easier to maneuver around the dog's mouth.

But it is pretty tuff and durable, much stronger than anything similar you’ll buy at Harbor Freight.
