Resin Casting Mold

Q: Is the dish mold (not feather one) fairly easily to pour without error? It looks like it's very susceptible to air pockets in the wall section of mold

There are air pockets but I pour slow and use a wood stick make sure the air pockets are gone

Q: You need to confirm how much resin this mold uses. Your instructions said 11 oz. It took a little over 3 oz. I wasted 8 oz of resin

I always fill a mold with water and measure before mixing resin. It is also a good idea to keep additional molds handy for left over resin.

I used a total of 3 oz. I could probably have gone down to 2

Q: How hard is it to de-mold? It seems like getting the ends out would be a problem

It isn't as difficult as it looks. The mold is flexible and you just start at one end and peel it back. I've made a few of these and haven't had an issue.
