Leave it to Rubbermaid to come up with something like this.
Arrived on time by Saia. Called me to set up delivery time and driver called me just before arrival at my request. Driver friendly and masked, let me check product before accepting and signing. It arrived damage free and ready to go, no assembly! Has all the properties of Craftsman or Snap-on tool boxes but the combination of plastic over a metal frame is much more lightweight so easy to move/take to where you need to work even when stuffed with tools. No more walking back and forth. Had room for ALL my tools since I'm an former mechanic. Another plus, no more rusty boxes with the plastic exoskeleton. The drawers and slides are metal and act just like the big boys named above(I put some grease on the tracks to make them slide just a little more easily), while the front is bolted on plastic. I strongly recommend getting liners and when you cut to fit them, maybe cut enough to also cover the front plastic part of the drawers for a little more protection even though they seem pretty durable (see photos) Overall, I'm happy I got this, and at the price $320 with shipping. I've seen them for at least $450 or more.

Rubbermaid 5-drawer cart 773488
Looks good, rolls well, drawers work well, nice work top. Drawers are metal on the inside and plastic on the front. The remainder is the heavy plastic material--no rust, no scratching of adjacent items, easy to clean. It's lighter than the metal ones which was a huge plus for this older wimp who will be lifting it into a truck. No tools in mine--just a rolling work station with lighter supplies inside and it'll be great for that. Seems sturdy enough for tools, tho. Woulda been nice to have drawer liners with it, but otherwise very pleased with the product. Shipped quickly, already assembled and without problems.

Good but price to high, the good and bad
Can't believe the price of this thing. I bought mine 5 years ago for over $100 less and that was hard to swallow. Can't say I could recommend it for it's current price. But it's very unique and good in many ways. Love the strong plastic. It won't rust, has smooth rounded shapes and pockets for nuts or tools on the top edge, peg board on sides for lots customization of hanging tools, and it rolls around nicely. But I'm a little disappointed in the strength and smoothness of the drawers. They aren't as chintzy as some but not nearly as good as professional or commercial units. And the red drawers are already kind of pinkish and it hasn't sat in the sun(hate that the most). Love the Rubbermaid company and many of their made in US products and their unique designs but lower that darn price!

Perfect for the grill area
I was looking for something to hold all the grill and smoker items outside. The old unit I had was made of wood and just fell apart. I wanted something with just drawers of varying sizes and something easy to keep clean while holding up to the elements in an outdoor kitchen (covered however). This unit is PERFECT! Differing drawer sizes hold all my stuff including a couple pounds of wood (in plastic bags) for my smoker. Rolls easily. Came fully assembled too. While it appears to be made for storing tools, this is also a great product for your outdoor kitchen to hold utensils, tools, even thermometers. Looks great too.

Product is what it was written up to be.
I am 71 years old and this cart is everything I hoped it would be; light weight, movable, and sturdy. The box was not damaged. I pulled the cart out and it was sturdy, fully assembled, all the drawers worked, no wobble as I rolled it from the car 75 feet to my door. I am using it for my small wood, craft and metal assembly projects. I am very pleased with the new product; and I'd buy it again.

Loud!
These look nice. I like the rounded bottom parts bins. The conversion tables are goofy, though. I like the plastic corners and the flat top (except for a tiny lip). I like the many drawers. I wish it had four swivel casters instead of two swivel and two straight; it is hard to dance this into position. The worse thing is that the drawers and slides are loud. The slides and drawers bang. OK for a tire shop, I guess, but annoying otherwise. Toolboxes are expensive for some reason and these are no exception, but if you can afford the better ones, I'd say go for it. Oh, there is a place for the locking bar when not in use; it took me a while to find it.

It was a good value for the money
This Rubbermaid mobile tool chest is a combination Rubbermaid plastic and metal, this making it both strong and much lighter than conventional all metal tool chests. The drawers have steel bottoms and metal drawer sliding guides for smooth opening and closing. The sides have peg board panels that accept standard peg board hooks. I have a double hook for holding my extension cord reel. I use mine in the garage, not for tools, but to hold all of my auto & lawn mower parts, various tubes of greases and service chemicals. It was a good value for the money.
