Works like a charm
We come across stray dogs and cats fairly often, and we decided to look for a portable microchip scanner. We've had no issues with this one at all so far. Detects the chips very easily, and is small enough that we just hang it up next to our keys.

Great gadget
We tried it straight out of the box and it was working beautifully and it came pre-charged. It has been almost 2 months and it still works perfectly!

Its nice but only for the 15 digit chips
I tested this at the vet's office with a new PetLink (Datamars) chip still in it's package and then tested it on my newly acquired feline with one of those microchips just implanted. Both chips read instantly and accurately. But, if I encounter another stray cat in my yard that lets met get close enough to use this, and it doesn't read anything, that doesn't mean the cat doesn't have another type of chip that this unit won't recognize. Not sure why someone can't make an inexpensive reader that can read all the frequencies. Those that do are ten times the price of this. I'm going to see if there are other inexpensive readers for the other 3? types, and if so, I'll buy and use three readers for stray cats.

Easy to Use
It is so easy to use and reads the microchip quick. You can't beat the quality or price. I highly recommend you getting one!!

unfortunately I have one of these because my pets were tagged without my consent.
I dont like microchipping an animal.Its was something I didnt do and was done without my consent but this product helped me to find the numbers and it could come in handy if u see a stray cat or dog to be returned back to the owner.I have had cats & dogs for years without microchips and traveled everywhere with my pets and dont like microchips for animals.However this product works every well to use to find a number of a microchip.

Works excellent being in dog rescue saves lots of precious time goin to a vet to get a dog scanned
Its simple to use, very very quick results, will be lending out to other rescue that dont have a scanner and helping found dogs/cats in my city to scan for the people finding the pet instead of goin to a vet. Love this scanner
