April Fresh In-Wash Laundry Scent Booster Beads, 24 oz, Laundry Scent Beads, Long-Lasting Freshness

I’ve been using Downy April Fresh In-Wash Laundry Scent Booster Beads for several months, and I’m very impressed. The scent is clean, fresh, and not overpowering. My clothes, towels, and bedding come out of the wash smelling amazing, and the fragrance lasts much longer than detergent alone. The beads are easy to use, just toss them into the washer before adding clothes. I especially love that I can still smell the April Fresh scent days later when I open my closet or linen cabinet. It gives laundry that extra boost of freshness that makes everything feel cleaner. The 24 oz container lasts a long time since only a small amount is needed per load. Great value for your money. It’s become a regular part of my laundry routine, and I’ve received compliments on how fresh my clothes smell and they’re extra soft too. I give 5 ⭐️ ‘s My favorite booster scent!! It smells so good and lasts for week's. I usually put 1/2 if that much into my wash and my clothes come out smelling very good. My co worker asked me what is that I use because she says it’s so fresh!! I proudly said “It’s Downy April Fresh”! It’s easily dissolvable, washes very well in the wash, very easy to use.

Really like these Downy scent booster beads. The April Fresh scent smells clean and fresh without being overwhelming, and it helps laundry keep that just-washed smell much longer. Easy to use and a little goes a long way. Great addition to my regular laundry routine. 5 stars!

I LOVE this scent. It’s comforting and sweet and fresh. It smells like laundry should. I think they will last a long time because you really only need to use 1/2 the recommended amount to get the same results as a full cap IMO. The speed Queen washing machines in my new condominium complex, unfortunately, have no dispensers for softener. I tried the Downy Ball but it didn't open correctly and spilled all over a black shirt. Obviously I was able to get it out, but I ended up getting some good advice. As it turns out, most of my clothes are made of synthetic blends, and "fabric softeners in the washer machine just break down synthetic fabric faster, and I should just use scent beads". My concern with scent beads was I didn't want that extremely strong scent, especially that I have a lot of different perfumes that I like to wear, and I try not to smell like anything too strongly. HOWEVER, I do like the scent of the original Downy on my sheets and freshly washed clothes.. SO THE FACT THEY HAD THIS PARTICULAR SCENT WAS PERFECT!!! (as opposed to the "Unstoppable" scents) NOW MY CLOTHES SMELL FRESHLY WASHED, AND NOT OVERBEARING. I ditched the softener, and all my clothes came out just as soft as they normally would, but this time smelling freshly washed. So I guess the advice I received was correct. There really is no need with the type of fabric most of my clothes are made out of, to even be using a fabric softener. Oh and also, I am not having any problems with static cling either.... ALTHOUGH I DO HANG ALL OF MY CLOTHES TO AIR-DRY, and that's just again, because I like to keep my fabrics and clothes lasting longer. I DID NOT USE A WHOLE CAPFUL HOWEVER. I USED A 1/8 MEASURING CUP, which is equivalent to 2 "measured" TBSP. and that was the perfect amount. I couldn't imagine using anymore or it would smell too strong. And this was for a pretty large load. Also, to use a whole capful, I would think, would use it up too quickly for what it cost. The cost could definitely be a little less.. but I guess that's in tune with how things are these days, at the moment.

I don’t use a full capful—just enough to cover the bottom of the cap or a small sprinkle directly into the washer, and it’s more than enough to leave my laundry smelling amazing. I’ve tried other scent boosters over the years, but I always come back to Downy April Fresh. I won’t use anything else!

You’d be skeptical at first, thinking maybe this is not going to make a difference, but it does! It does make a difference. You can smell the laundry, scent is beautiful. This my 3rd time buying this specific scent.
