Hydrapak Flux Foldable Water Bottle 750ml or 1L or 1.5L Hydration Backpack Hiking Trekking Camping Bivvy - Upright

Took to Europe and was so handy. It is extremely lightweight and easy to roll up and hook to my bag. It did initially have a taste, but after a good clean out with lemon and bicarb, it went away. Great size bottle!

I've tried a few soft bottles because there's a lot of appeal for camping and traveling - lightweight and doesn't take a lot of space, and sometimes I don't want to deal a hydration bladder. They've all had issues - nalgene's would fall over due to the large wide mouth cap, platypus's were impossible to dry, and so on. Found an older model of the hydrapak flux that I loved for camping and traveling - super easy to pack, came in at least 32 oz, stood up on it's own, and was easier to clean and dry. Didn't super love the twist cap as it didn't release air so it would eventually flop over as you drank, and the mouthpiece was exposed. After the wife made me carry her double walled bottle during skiing, I bought her bottle, and I feel it's been improved in every way. It's wider so there's a more stable base, they added a flip cap, and now when you untwist, it lets air escape so the bottle will expand back to it's normal shape. They added clear plastic on the top so it's easier to see how much liquid is left, and the cap prevents leakage while still in the open twisted position. The loop is longer which makes it easier to roll up as in the pictures, but it's still kind of a pain, so I rarely do it. I'm undecided whether to just steal my wife's bottle, or buy a second one for myself. I still use hard bottles for sizes about 32 oz as I'm unsure of the sturdiness of the larger sizes, but this has become my go to whenever I want to take some water out of the house.

Love the concept and the bottles however incredibly frustrating and hard to clean. Mould builds up along the seam under the flap and it’s nigh on impossible to get out. Also cap/too hard to clean also. Had to throw it away Shame because it’s a great design. If cap was bigger so you could get a hand in the bottle to clean in the seam properly It would be my favourite bottle!

Really like this bottle! It's not chunky nor heavy! It stand on its own, might not be good to fit it in a bag side pocket because it's a bit squishy. since it's not my goal, it works perfectly for my daily use, at home and gym! The handle is pretty handy eheh :D

Ich habe die Flasche spontan für einen Wanderurlaub in den Alpen gekauft. Das war definitiv eine gute Investition. Die Flasche ist sehr leicht und lässt sich einfach zusammenrollen, wenn sie leer ist. Dadurch nimmt sie extrem wenig Platz im Gepäck ein. Mit der Lasche könnte man sie auch außen per Karabiner am Rucksack oder am Gürtel befestigen, wenn man die Flasche schneller griffbereit haben möchte. Auch bei Druckunterschieden durch verschiedene Höhenmeter war die Flasche immer dicht und es ist nichts ausgelaufen, was bei Hartplastikflaschen schon mal passieren kann. Zu Beginn schmeckte das Wasser noch ein wenig nach dem Plastik, aber nach ein paar Mal ausspülen war der Geschmack weg. Ich habe die Flasche ausschließlich für Wasser ohne Kohlensäure genutzt. Wie sie auf andere Flüssigkeiten reagiert, kann ich nicht sagen. Insgesamt hat sich für mich der Kauf auf jeden Fall gelohnt.
