I blind bought this, and at first smell, I was not convinced I fully liked it. I still think I would probably prefer some of the other scents from this brand, but that’s just me. However, it does have lasting power! Most fragrances dissipate so quickly on me, but this one I can still smell hours later without having to reapply (and also without it being nauseating or overwhelming like some fragrances can be.) It has very quickly become a favorite for this reason. Don’t waste your money on other perfumes! Just buy Le Monde Gourmand!

I was looking for an affordable perfume that was a little on the fruity side. Upon initial spray it is so heavy on the alochol that it makes my stomach turn and gives me a headache. After a few minutes, when it dries down its a fruity creamy scent heavy on the pineapple? But I can't place what I'm smelling exactly.. there's something I really don't like. Definitely a scent for summer. 30 Minutes in, it smells more creamy Coconut which is much more pleasant, but it's faint.This scent dissappear totally within an hour or so on my skin, literally no trace anything was even on me. On my clothes it stays more pineapple...ick. Not worth the money. I now wish I had picked a different scent but I was trying to find something unique for my collection, which this is. Bummed as I can't return or exchange. Now it will just sit in my drawer to waste away

This is an interesting perfume. I definitely can smell the rum note but I also smell banana. My nose picks up a strong banana smell but this doesn't have a banana note. It smells good though and it's much stronger than most perfumes from this house. If you like boozy tropical perfumes you probably will like this. It also smells unique and sexy. I have a large collection of perfumes and I can honestly say I don't own anything that smells like this.

I was not a fan.. been wanting a scent that's giving summer vacation and pina colada vibes but this is not it.

I purchased the rum tropique and it’s nothing as expected, but better! I couldn’t have imagined this alluring and intoxicating scent. It’s hard describe. There is a creamy base that definitely gives me golden rum. I smell like a summer sunrise. This was a blind buy and I am definitely purchasing another scent. Just received and sprayed, so I am not sure about longevity, but if it can last a couple of hours, I’m converted.

I usually don't like gourmand fragrances, but this smells exactly like a boozy pina colada. I'm surprised by how much I like it. It's all I've worn since it came in the mail. It lasts 4-5 hours, and while I can smell it on me for a long time, it doesn't overwhelm anyone around me. It was exactly what I was looking for.
