Dont buy this. Although the hardware works fine, the App sucks.
I woudn't waste your time purchasing this hardware. Although the Zapper (hardware) actually works quite well the application you need to use it totally sucks. It crashes constantly. Open it for the first time? Application crash. Try to delete a remote you created? Application crash. Try to delete a button you created? Application crash. Can find the remote codes when scanning the libraray right away? Application crash. I reinstalled the application, I have updated my phone, I have sought out forums, I have looked for other applications that might use the same hardware but nothing fixes the issue. I came across several product reviews while I was looking around- it seems many other customers have had similar experiences. Additionally, VooMote is/was made by Zero1.tv a company that is long dead. Even their old domain is for sale, so there wont be any updates to this application any time soon. Hoping not to make the same mistake I've been researching and looking for a similar product. The L5 looks promising. Check it out for yourself: l5remote.com

good; bugs and kinks need worked out still
similar to previous complaints: you have to point the zapper right at the device you are trying to work and it definitely does not range more than 10 feet away. otherwise the concept is really good and pretty neat. easy to set up, just a little time consuming.
