3/4" Brass Washing Machine Y Piece Splitter Loose Union Type with Additional Washer & PTFE Tape

I recently bought a countertop dishwasher which can be plumbed in or filled with a jug. Plumbing in is obviously a lot more convenient but it’s above the washing machine so the water supply was already in use. Using this Y connector I have split the cold water supply to feed into both appliances, was fairly easy to do myself with no tools and works without leaking. I was tempted to get one with little taps but the reviews seem to show they don’t work anyway. This also comes with plumbers tape to help get a good seal although I didn’t need it. As the water supply has its own little on/off valve I’m happy with this as there’s less to go wrong and it seems very solid. I’m 5’0 with back, knee and arm injuries but it was possible to tighten it enough to be watertight so should be ok for anyone who can open a jam jar. Great part and arrived next day - thanks 😊

I'm quite happy with this purchase and total package. The inclusion of the plumber's tape was appreciated and made it all go swimmingly. It ended up being easier to get the new part on than the old plastic part off simply because of the higher quality brass fitting. Additionally, because of the tape everything went on incredibly easily and hasn't leaked a bit.

Definitely go for this over the plastic ones. The plastic one I had sprung a leak, this one fits snug and only needs hand tightening for a solid seal. The tape that came with it is really handy too. I forgot the stuff existed. More than enough for the job and plenty left over. The spare washer was a godsend too as I'd lost one for one of the connector hoses and it slipped right in. Delivered early too.

This is a perfect Y piece splitter which is well made and finished nicely. I also like that it is supplied with thread tape and a spare washer covering most of the options for a successful repair / fitting. I bought this splitter to replace a plastic one which I just couldn't seal completely. I am happy to say that this new one has completely solved the water leak and looks great too.

Brilliant product,really sturdy and solid. Easy to fit and real tight once fitted,been over a month and not a drop of water leaked. Would highly recommend.

Easy to fit and so far so good after a fortnight with no leaks! And I am far from a DIY expert!! It actually seemed to work better WITHOUT the thread tape?

Worked brilliantly when I wanted to replace a plastic y piece that leaked. Strong and did not leak at all. Didn't need the ptfe tape that it comes with.
