Know your offset
Without instructions know how much you need to offset the door from the jamb/casing with the hinge. Mine was 3/8 due to the hinge being centered at 7/8 of an inch. Door width was 1 3/4. Do your math then dry fit!

Great concept, well built. Horrible instructions.
Instructions leave a lot to the imagination. I'm a decent diy guy that tends to think things through and over engineer before picking up a tool. Even so, with the horrendous "directions," it took me 3 tries to get the installation correct.
