There are 4 holes for adjusting, I am 5ft 5 and the second to lowest hole is perfect for me, so I think would be fine for quite a tall person as there are another 2 holes to make taller, or someone a bit smaller as there's one lower than I have it

Q: are these left and right specifically or can they be used in either hand? ie I only use one but would like 1 for inside 1 for out

The crutches can be used in both hands - there is no right or left side , these are the second set I have bought - very good ,hope this is helpful ,also they are sold individually not as a pair .

Q: would they be used for man 6ft 2" ?

I'm not sure i think they would be.. they only have 2 wholes that adjust hight. Id say yes looking at them.. im 5ft 5 and the next whole is about 5 _6 inches away.. Thats the only thing with them.. but the r very comfy. Look at measurements in the description. Sorry I cant help any more xx
