Love this lyre!
I love this lyre. Does take a while for the strings to stay in tune but it will. Have played a few songs on it and it has a beautiful tone to it. Be patient with the string tuning and gentle with the tuning instrument make tiny movements so as not to break the strings if you are a beginner (like me). I have some experience with playing other stringed instruments, so this feels good to be able to play again and the lure is not heavy when playing. I am really enjoying it.

It's okay for what it is.
I bought this instrument to learn and to practice. It has a decent sound and it feels okay. Doesn't hold a tune so well but that's not much of a problem. It's fit for purpose as far as I'm concerned but I can see myself getting a better one made down the line. As an added bonus, it's beautiful.Oh yes, and it comes with a nice albeit soft carrying case

Plink Plonk Snap
Arrived 30 ins ago. The one string the broke upon initial tuning was the one string not included as a spare (17, high E). I have a 90-odd stringed zither but this little thing ..(!) Anyway, I replaced the string with a high E guitar string.

Cheaply made
Not worth the money - The tension is too much for the cheap wood to handle, the sound is nowhere near as good as you'd expect, Don't bother.

Packaged well, has a nice dreamy melodic sound and the instrument is good quality, a nice a stable feel to it . Worth it tbh

I ordered 3 of these. They came in super quickly. They are beautiful. The booklet is very helpful. I have everything needed to get started. Lots of tuning to do. I downloaded the suggested app for tuning. My friends and I will enjoy learning this new instrument. Can't wait for Christmas.
