Tangle® Palm Classic 2-Pack Teal and Purple

These are my first Tangles in the “Palm” size, as an adult collector I think they’re pretty great! They might be too big for smaller or child sized hands, but I like them for me! They’re super shiny and a lot sturdier than my smaller ones, no they don’t have a texture but I love the visual stim I get with the metallic colors. And they’re easy to take apart and customize! I love using these at my desk or on the go so I don’t get anxious, they’re not too loud but do clack a little bit if you use them roughly. Overall, I think the bigger size is more fun and relaxing, but Tangle has many options, especially with their “Jr.” line! I love the bright colors of this one, but they do have more options if you want a more “subtle adult” look too. I’m an autistic adult, and Tangles are personally some of my favorite fidget and stim toys. Super simple, but just right!

I got these to be used as stocking stuffers, and then ended up opening one to keep myself. Fun little gadgets to fiddle and play with. You can keep your hands busy while you concentrate on other things. They are a fun twisty design with 2 textures that small kids might like. I haven't had them very long so can't comment on durability, but they seem well made and I'll update if they aren't. Good value for the money.

Love these two colors together

I got these as fidgets for myself, and they're absolutely fantastic. Very satisfying and good to stim with, visually interesting, and lots of fun. However, I rated four stars due to the fact that the connecting bits wear out pretty quickly when you pop them apart, so it becomes becomes too easy for them to pull apart. Additionally, the smooth texture of the tangles is nice, but does mean that they start to feel sort of greasy after a while, which may not be ideal if you have sensory needs. This can be fixed by just washing the tangles with a bit of soap, though. Overall a solid fidget toy!

I'm a huge fan of the Tangle line of fidgets. I've got probably half a dozen of the Tangle Jr.'s in different styles and two Tangle Therapy's. So it's no surprise that I enjoyed this one! If you've never tried a Tangle toy, I think this is a great starting point, and I'd highly recommend it—it might just become your favorite fidget! The Tangle Palm is quite a bit bigger than the Tangle Jr. As the name may imply, this one fills your (adult sized) palm. It feels a bit clunkier, in a good way. It's great for adult sized hands, but I think this would also be excellent for children who might not have as much motor control or find it hard to hold onto smaller items. It's also great for those who need something to fidget with but tend to get overwhelmed/overstimulated. This is a very simple fidget and doesn't require any more focus or thought than you want to give it. It does make a clacky sound when it hits itself, so it is not entirely silent. I find the metallic varieties to be a bit quieter (the Tangle Therapy line is quietest, though). If putting into a pocket, it works just fine to lay flat-ish if you coil it and split it into two (make a figure-eight shape).

I had no idea what this Tangle® Palm Classic was or exactly what it would do. But for some reason I knew my son would love it. Not only did he love it he was already familiar with it. He had obviously seen it on social media (kid approved social media.) I wanted to get him a little something special to celebrate going back to school and this turned out to be the perfect gift. He has played with it off and on since I gave it to him and that says a lot about a toy coming from a highly active, low attention span 7 yr old. The last I seen he was wearing both of these Tangle's as a necklace. At one point, he had all the pieces separated and then putting them back together with the different colors of each Tangle. He also made a variety of shapes and designs. The individual pieces are a good safe size, and they easily snap on and off. I cannot believe how much play he is getting out of these. I highly recommend!
