Worked out of the box
Works perfectly and I no longer have to carry batteries for my field monitor. A single battery bank is now all that is required for a days use, oh, and this cable of course.

Works great, don't use this the wrong way around
One of the other reviews mention that this failed electrically for them and went up in smoke, however, it is clear from their review that they were using the product the wrong way around by mistake. The purpose here is to act as a USB-C PD trigger to obtain power via USB-C PD and then deliver this via the DC jack barrel. Using this the wrong way around to try to supply power to the USB-C plug from the DC jack barrel is unsafe and should obviously not be attempted.

12 V cable is rated for 3 A. DC barrel connector is 5.5mm x 2.1mm. This cable also *prevents* the battery from going to sleep (auto-sleep) which is a big benefit for when powering very low-power devices.

Going to avoid all DSD Tech products
Been using for around a month, when today, smoke! Item has been connected to a mini-PC and has been working fine. Today the PC, fortunately, was disconnected from the USB-C port but the power port was still connected to a power source and had been connected for around 2 hrs, so zero power draw. Suddenly I heard a crispy crackling sound and turned to see smoke from the disconnect USB-C side. I cannot imagine what might have happened if this happened when I was not around. Extremely fortunate this was not actually connected to any device as I am sure this would have bricked it.

Legit delivers the rated voltage
I purchased this so that I could use a portable USB power bank to power my telescope mount, which has a 2.1mm input. The mount can run on anywhere from 7V-15V, but it works best with 12V. This PD power cable legitimately negotiates the rated voltage from the power supply. I purchased the 12V cable, and I have measured the output to my mount as 12V. Other cables do not fix the voltage, so since my mount can take 9V, other cables may only deliver 9V.
