Is the clear cover removable? Dog hair does not “flush with water”.

No it is not removable. You might have to get creative to clean it out. I put my brush in a bucket of water and let it run until it flushed out the hair.

Bought to replace broken original Bissell tool and was delighted with the price and service. Fitted easily and works as if the Bissell machine was new. I was also pleased that 2 replacement brushes were included which is useful if cleaning carpet followed by upholstery. Great buy.
