Don’t waste your money
So after only a couple of tries to use this the flexible light pops out of the base and now the magnifying lens has become detached. Total waste of money

Batteries don't last long
The item is a nice little light, easy to use and well balanced but the batteries don't last very long. Its ok for short busts of use but in the winter when it's darker for longer, the batteries will probably need changing daily.

Let down by short lived batteries
The main drawback of this product is that the 3 small button batteries lose power very quickly. I noticed a substantial dimming after using the lamp for about 1 hour. The positives of the size, weight, balance and magnifier area of the product are all outweighed by the battery performance. I shall be returning it.

It's perfect for the use intended.
This is a lovely, delicate-looking little lamp/magnifier which I bought for my elderly Mum. She needs to be able to see her hearing aids clearly to change small parts and this is perfect. It leaves her hands free and has a good,clear, daylight-style light built in (which is so natural looking she needs to be careful to turn it off after use!) There is an extra insert in the lens for higher magnification.

A Good magnifier, but not new condition
This was a good magnifying lamp and would have been easy to angle over art work or embroidery. Unfortunately it came with no packaging other than its display packaging (which was scuffed both inside and out, only secured by 1 inch of selotape on one edge). It could not be given as a gift because the address label was stuck directly onto the box and did not peel off. The magnifier had clearly had the protective film peeled off and reapplied and had marks on it. There was human hair in the box too. I have returned it, and found it is cheaper at Hobbycraft.

Absolute Rubbish
Never been more disappointed in this purchase from Amazon! It was no way a 'new' item as listed! Box was old, magnifying glass has a deep scratch the while length of it. Batteries were included but the light did not even work...plus the back cover was broken and would not stay on!! I cannot believe I was ripped off with such rubbish!!

Brightness/Stability
Not big enough, not very sturdy, very lightweight and topples over easily. Not good enough to use for doing an intricate tapestry.

Was a lot smaller than photo very disappointed.
