Expensive but looks to be very robust

Stays straight and doesn’t kink unless pulled around a corner sharply, hopefully it won’t grow green stuff in it like my last one as UV protected.

Good hose and easy to connect with appropriate fittings. Has a good degree of twist-resistance. Bit expensive but worth it.

Sturdy,perfect for my powerwasher

Exactly as expected. A perfect garden hose. It is attached at either end with cheap and very old plastic connectors - NO leaks. Was afraid that the colour silver and yellow would make it a bit of an eye-sore when left around the garden, but no it is dull enough to easily miss. Surprisingly malleable and yet it has a 25 year guarantee, so it can't be all that fragile.

I mean, let's not get emotional, it's a hose. It's described by Hoselock as 'robust' and I would echo that. Lightweight it is not. I tend to think 'lightweight' in this context means 'flimsy', anyway. I bought it to replace our old Hozelock hose, which must be at least twenty years old and was full of kinks and leaks. Well, over the years, its length has been substantially reduced where leaking sections have been cut out and, frankly, we'd had enough. The new hose, compared with the old one, is wonderful. I'll be surprised if it ever kinks or leaks and I can't think how it could be improved. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. If you want something which does the job properly without you having to compromise to accommodate its failings, this hose will not disappoint, whereas many cheaper offerings will. Disappoint, that is. I bought a new Hoselock spraygun, which I'll give its own review in a minute, to go with the new hose and replace the two old ones we had which, while doing the job, shared the water with me or the surrounding area and were driving me nuts. The new one is a joy to use, all the water comes out of the nozzles, all of it goes onto the plants and none of it leaks over me. Couldn't be happier.

Voted top hose by which magazine. That's good enough for me. Heavy good quality should last years.

Seems ok, but to say it’s anti twist is really not true. Quite sturdy, and I would say it was good value.

Der Schlauch ist wertig verarbeitet und verdreht sich kaum. Innen ist er beschichtet und sehr stabil. Einzig die Rillen aussen wirken komisch, stören aber nicht...
