This head collar would be extremely harsh and cruel in the wrong hands (like most things in the equine world). But used CORRECTLY it works like magic. It is so important to fit the head collar properly, if you don’t you are going to end up with a horse that has a broken nose/face. It works using pressure and release. It’s a good quality head collar that will last a life time and is worth the money. It also arrived the next day. My horse cannot have a bit in her mouth so this is a good substitute for when she is feeling fresh & strong and forgets to listen. It can be used firmly but more importantly fairly, it makes ground work much more fun for both of us. (I also enjoy not being dragged around and flying like a kite in the air when she decides to go for a little run with me still holding on)

I bought this to help load my stubborn horse who isnt scared of the traiker, he just diesnt want ti leave his friends. Perfect fit once adjusted and it works well

My wife put this headcollar on our ex racehorse (who is a rescue horse) to lead him into his box as he would get very agitated about going in there,, we believe he was attacked by a previous owner in a box so therefore he was petrified about going in there? But after he was led in with this headcollar for the first time he was wary ,jumpy etc about going in? But he went in as good as we could have hoped?and after that he took one look at the head collar and he walked right in? Which was amazing to see as he had as far as we can contemplate overcome his fear of the box? That with the fact we have had him for five years now and he has never heard a raised voice to him let alone abuse??so this head collar settled him and us as we did not like seeing him afraid? He now goes in his box with no drama??? Which is brilliant 👍😃 thanks monty👍😀

It does a brilliant job but for the price I would have expected rivets on all the eyelets or just the pole area!! However it is heavy sturdy & strong, when fitted correctly it does as it says!!

This headcollar has been a life saver turning out my mare after boxrest , she is a rearer in excitement and it has stopped the behaviour

Really like this head collar. My horse can be a bit silly at times, So it’s great for those days. You can also put the lead rope on the normal loop to turn it into a normal head collar when they are not being silly

I had one years ago but sold it when I lost my horse ... Now I have another horse she needs some help with a free things. Altho it's expensive, it does a brilliant job. Well worth the money.
