Megami Device AUV Susanowo Model Kit

The Megami Device line came from Kotobukiya's Frame Arms and Frame Arms Girl. It is based on the "Beautiful Girl x Mechanic" idea. The AUV Susanowo is the successor to the Asra line with improved hip joints and the new AUV (Accel Unleashed Vanguard) arm and leg frame that offers more attachment points for parts and customization. "Susanowo" comes with numerous layers of armor that can be reconfigured into "insane mode" and "Brutal mode". The "Amamurakumo sword" can split into an Axe and a gun as well as reconfigure into a tail for Brutal Mode. As with most Megami Device models you get extra parts to display it in armored mode or body mode. There are three different pre painted faces to choose from and a couple of spare parts (extra pieces for another wrist joint). The whole thing requires patience and steady hands (even for changing modes). Kotobukiya is on par with Bandai in terms of offering a clean snap fit and MG levels of articulation. However, there are some fragile pieces and really pointy pieces (like HMM Zoids). You also get water transfer stickers (like MG Gundam) be sure to use a ear swab to soak up the excess water as they will slide off. Kotobukiya has a website with English instructions (link in manual on top of page 04). Kotobukiya products are not recommended for beginners (this took 6+ hours to build).

Came well packaged amd noting missing, loving the item!

組立てに関して苦労した所はありませんでした。ポロリし易い箇所として、「素体状態の後ろ髪」等がありましたが、個体差かも知れませんし、ちょっとした調整で直ります。 説明書もわかりやすかったです。 プロポーション、関節可動域も納得の出来、購入してよかったと思えるキットです。

人生初のメガミデバイスになります。しかしそこは壽屋ブランド。 相変わらず油断すると手に刺さりそうな鋭いパーツのオンパレード。 パーツ数が多いので、慎重に作業を勧めれば美しいモデルが完成できます。 パーツ同士の総合性も良く、ストレスを感じさせません。 アーマーの交換に、外さなければならないパーツが多いところが難点でしょうか。 可動は若干の硬さが見られますが、私は緩いより硬いほうが安心感が有って良いと思います。 超ハイレグ衣装のパーツ構成が素晴らしく、作っていて楽しいモデルでした。

蒼炎と比べて、派手なエフェクトパーツも、アーマーの空力ガジェット的なディテールも無し、カラーリングは一部ホワイトがアクセントになっているのみ、蒼炎とくらべて、こちらは、良い意味で、ただの実戦機、といった感じです。完成後、全装備状態の武装モードは、エフェクトパーツが無いので、蒼炎より前後左右幅が抑えられていますが、それでも、飾る場所に少し困ります。しかし、二体並べて飾ると、本当に格好良いので、それは些細な問題です。ちなみに、スサノヲはこれで二体目になるので、少しは組み立て時間を短縮できるか？ と、思っていたのですが、ほとんど変わりませんでした。
