Nice Inverter for the price!
I like the cordless remote control! I use this DIY Solar Power system to power the 'freezer' in my hot Texas garage. It runs from sun up, to sun down, and recently for 24hrs during a power failure. I've used 1000watt Inverter for 3 years, but when the 'defrost' cycle kicks in, there is a surge that sometimes trips the inverter, especially if more than just the freezer is plugged in. I've only had this inverter for a couple of weeks, but so far it's doing exactly what I was expecting. The only 'con', is when the garage is hot (90+ degrees), the fans on this unit are quite loud. That's not too important in a garage, but I've put a 110v 120mm Case Fan, plugged into the inverter, so that when the inverter is on, a gentle breeze blows across the excellently 'finned' inverter case... so far no inverter fans have started up, since that time. :) I'm very pleased so far! =====> Wow! I forgot to hit the 'SUBMIT' button in June! I've had it two months now, and it's faithfully running the garage freezer with the case fan blowing across the inverter and two case fans blowing across the freezer compressor, every day, from sun up to sun down on my DYI solar system. Today, Aug 6th, it was 102 degrees outside, and the garage is HOT!! It's met my every expectation so far, and I would recommend it. 18 month update. (Jan 2026): This unit is still running like it was new! Through out the year, summer, fall, winter, spring it's never faltered. In 105 degree heat ... no problem. Only 'Con' I didn't mention before: Here in the DFW area we have an AM Radio station , 570 on the dial, which gets a high pitched 'squeal' from this inverter when it's in operation. That's the only place on the dial that is bothered, so it's not a big deal. If this inverter is still made to these specs, and the noisy fans are not an issue, I would still give it 5 stars and recommend it.

Simple install, works as expected
First, to the reviewer dissing this unit because it didn't provide the full 2500W from a single plug. The chart above will help explain to you WHY no unit in this class will EVER do that. The plug in the top right is the normal plug for US homes and is also the plug pretty much EVERY inverter in this class offers. It's a 15A circuit (same as your house). It's the plug used in THIS inverter. That means from each plug you can only draw 1800W MAX (15A X 120V = 1800W) from each plug. In the middle on the left side is a 20 amp socket. Notice that one side has a t-slot. That tells you it's a 20A circuit. Now a 20A circuit would get you CLOSE to 2500W, but not quite (20A x 120v = 2400W). This is NOT the socket used on this inverter. On to the actual review of this unit. It's a super simple install with the included cables. I can't speak to the quality of the cables. They seem large enough and I hope they are real copper rather than copper claded aluminum. They do have nice ring terminals on each end that seem to be crimped on well. Also, all four ends have NO actual wire showing, just the rings. The unit itself has a nice heft. The small display on the front has all the important info. One place I've noticed that Chinese electronics fall down is where the cables connect. Usually they are flimsy and ill fitting. On this unit the connection is well though out, solid and completely insulated. For power I use a 250Ah LiFePo4 battery with a 200A BMS which can supply everything the inverter can draw. So for a test I put my house fridge (700A), chest freezer (600W), Desk top computer (300A), 4 monitors (about 150W total) for a total of a little over 1700W on one plug. Remember, the MAX available if you're ac is 120v (not 110v or 115v). I had everything set up to power on immediately, so big draw as soon as you start. Everything powered up and ran just like they were plugged into separate wall circuits. The twin fans do ramp up with temperature and are NOT the quietest fans in the world. But that's sort of a function of their size. Small fans have to spin faster to send the same amount of air as a bigger fan. At full chat they aren't hugely annoying, but you WILL hear them. You probably don't want them in the living room or right next to you at a campsite. The unit offers 3 120vac plugs on three separate 15A circuits. I would've liked to see individual replaceable fuses for each but instead there is only a single 40A fuse for the entire thing. They do give you 6 spares though. I LOVE the remote. Some units give you a wired remote with a display and an on/off button. And this is great if you're going to MOUNT the remote display somewhere. But my system is on a cart to be wheeled to where it's needed. So that wired remote would be of NO use to me. However, the on/off function of the wireless remote is great for me. I can turn the inverter on and off from wherever I am (within 100'). Simple. One thing to note though is that no bsattery is provided with the remote and it uses a somewhat esoteric A23 size. Not a big problem, but something to know. So far I'm really liking this unit. It does would could REALISTICALLY be expected of it.

So far so good
This inverter has been working great so far. We've used it all winter long for a barndominium build. We have 2 100ah hour lifepo4 batteries that we plug into it and they provide more than enough power to the inverter. We've used it in temperatures below freezing (not recommended) and it still worked just fine. Only flaw I noticed is that there aren't any circuit breakers for the outlets. It has fuses instead which would be a pain to replace but I haven't used and don't plan on using anything that could blow a 20amp fuse. I would knock off a star for this but considering the price, I'd say it still deserves five stars. It's already paid for itself considering we use solar to recharge it (well we used to until the electrical inspector told us we need a permit to use solar, which i think isn't true for this small setup but it's based on his discretion. Now we just take the batteries home and charge them with a battery charger) Overall, I would recommend this. It handles my big table saw and miter saw without any problems. The remote is also great. We basically use it in place of a light switch. Very convenient. I plan on putting this in my work truck when we finally get grid power hooked up to the barndominium and install a few 235watt solar panels on top of my truck bed cover. Also, if any of you are intrested in using solar with your setup, I bought used panels and got 6 235watt panels for only $240 and they still have 100% efficiency. Some had an output of up to 250watts on very sunny days. You can save sooo much money on panels getting used ones. Many of them just had small blemishes that don't effect the panels performance. They just aren't able to sell them at as high of a price if they have any flaws. There are a lot of places that sell them used so it shouldn't be hard to find some

Solid inverter, noisy
Works well. Display on front is easy to read installation was easy up and working in less than 15 min. Only complaint is fans are a bit noisy

Great quality and right price
Loved this purchase. It’s still working perfectly two years later. The power output is as stated. It’s only noisy when the fan is on in hotter temps. And the price compared to the American-made models just can’t be beat. Great purchase.

Finally an accessory to run my portable frig/freezer
We are going to run our 55qt frig/freezer with it for camping and picnics. Glad to have it.

sine wave unsteady under load
3000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter 24V DC Its internal grounding was loose (sometimes connected, sometimes not), which can be deadly. That might could be fixed, but its output was phase shifting under load (at only about 1500 watts, 1/2 its rated load). Phase shifting is bad for devices that have AC motors connected (AC units, refrigerators, compressors, etc.) and can be bad for some sensitive electronics, although most would be okay. This is the type of thing that would go unnoticed without an oscilloscope - luckily I have one. And I verified that it wasn't just the oscilloscope, as my other inverters showed to be rock solid with the same load. With the grounding fixed, this inverter might be okay for purely resistive loads like heaters and lights, but even then, most heaters have control circuits that might be damaged by this. This device is a no go for me. Note: This may have just been a defective unit (as it clearly had issues), so if the seller wants to send me a test unit, I'll test it and update accordingly - and would even consider purchasing it. The only other issue was that the included cables are not adequate for the amps this would draw from the battery if actually run at 3000 watts. But, I have lots of cables. Otherwise, I liked it. The outlets were nicely spaced, it has less than an amp idle draw. The display was adequate, although mine was shifted over in its window and hard to read the edges.

Never take it to the max
This is a pure sign wave inverter so it uses high speed switching to produce a clean wave form. Which is really good for sensitive electronic equipment however 4000 maximum output you never wanna exceed 3000 or you could burn it up. Shortening the life of the unit. If it was a transformer based unit, then you could exceed.
