It's delicious stuff. Great quality and variety of flavors. Lots of chunks of dried fruit.
Absolutely delicious so far. I'm new to drinking loose leaf tea, it's a habit I just started 2 months ago. I started with mint tea and decided to branch out, so ordered this sampler box. WOW, it's amazing quality. The box is definitely gift worthy and packet samples are sturdy sealed air tight. It comes with a really nice variety of teas, and interesting flavors. The creamy almond sounds odd, but let me tell you it's sooooo good. It's like dessert. I do use a bit of cream in my tea. At first I thought it was pretty expensive, but now I think it's well worth the price for the quality and flavor. Like I said, I'm new to drinking loose leaf tea so it's fun for me to see the chunky ingredients in the packets, like bits of dried apples and fruit. I've only had 3 of the teas so far, and will certainly be ordering more. It's delicious stuff.

Nice & fresh
Awesome variety of teas to try. We enjoyed every loose leaf tea in this sample packet. Really nice way to see which kind that you'll be enjoying drinking instead of having a larger size & you know you're right really crazy about & it sits in the cabinet. I enjoyed this so much that I had ordered this for a dear friend to try. Tea is flavorful & enjoyable to drink. When we first got this set along with our electric teapot, it was wonderful having a nice cup of tea made according to the right temperature for each tea to enjoy. At first, I did brew the tea according to the directions but later found that we did not need to use as much as recommended & was still getting a wonderful strength of tea. The ingredients ALL seem to be fresh & you can smell them as soon as you open the package. A nice way to find the favorite loose leaf tea to enjoy

100% worth trying these tasty teas!
After learning that the tea in tea bags is essentially bottom-of-the-line tea dust with a side dish of microplastics and chemical flavorings, I've been on the hunt for some loose leaf teas to replace them. Now, each of these blends contain "natural flavors", which I'm not too thrilled about ("natural flavors" just means that the flavorings they used "taste natural, like the real thing", not that they're derived from natural ingredients). However, anything is better than tea bags, and they're very tasty, so I can't complain too much about it. I'll go over the individual flavors in the sampler below. 1. Blackberry Bellini -- Tasty, but weak. It was my first time ever trying loose leaf, so my water may not have been hot enough, so take that with a grain of salt. 2. Blueberry Wild Child -- Tasty, but the hibiscus in this blend does a LOT of heavy lifting here. I couldn't taste much blueberry, and for a blend called blueberry wild child, I was a bit disappointed. Very floral, a bit tangy. Bright pink-red color. 3. Nutty Almond Cream -- Absolutely delightful. I continued to sip on this as the steep got stronger, and different flavors came out as it did so. It starts off very mild and tastes like cinnamon toast crunch as a tea. A nice warm nutty cinnamon flavor. Then as it gets stronger, it turns pinkish, and whatever flower they added to give it that color starts to take over and add a floral flavor. Very nice, but when I have it again, I'll take the tea out before that happens as I like the milder flavor better for this blend. 4. Maui Mango -- My lord. This tea tastes like a tropical paradise. It's absolutely delicious, and I say that as someone who doesn't really like pineapple. The pineapple and mango are perfectly balanced, with a hint of orange, none of them overpowering the others. I'm sipping on my second cup of it as I write this. It might actually be my favorite out of the box. I just had my SIL taste it and she agrees. Oh, and the color is NEON yellow, like literal highlighter ink. I think that comes from the marigolds in it. 5. Passionberry Jolt -- Also very tropical and fruity, very tasty! Not much extra to say about this one, lol. 6. Fruity Paradise -- For a blend with that name, it's not very fruity at all. You mostly just taste the green tea base. I got some faint floral notes, but not much strawberry or fruit at all. It was also weak overall and had very little color to it. Pretty disappointing. 7. Fireberry -- This is the only one out of this box that I outright disliked. It tasted exactly how it smelled -- which is like cough syrup. Very chemical taste and smell, I actually could not bring myself to take more than a few sips of it to make sure I'd given it a fair try. I had my SIL taste it and she didn't mind it, so she finished it. The only nice thing about it was the beautiful dark red color. It also left a lingering weird smell in the room that I kept getting unpleasant whiffs of. Not really sure what's in this blend that was so nasty; I like cranberries, don't mind elderberries and none of the other ingredients raise a red flag, except "rooibos tea", which I've never had. 8. Lavender chamomile -- I haven't tried this one yet, but chamomile pretty hard to mess up, so I'm sure it's just fine. I don't like the taste of lavender at all, so my judgement on it would probably be skewed anyway. I will say that as a learning herbalist, the herbs appear to be good quality with a vibrant color. Overall, I would 100% recommend this sampler to try out some good flavorful teas. Considering there's still enough left in each bag for me to have at least 2-3 more cups of each flavor, that's excellent value for the money. I'll definitely be buying a full sized bag of the Maui Mango.

Great variety, great flavors, good quality.
The top of this review is specific to the Tiesta Tea Top 8 Favorites Sampler Set. The bottom is random samples from the other variety packs. -------Tiesta Tea Top 8 Favorites Sampler Set------- - Fruity Paradise - Hint of strawberry pineapple, almost like a non-sour strawberry lemonade, but the rose petals are prominent. My favorite of the fruity/floral flavors. The rose really brings the flavors together. - Blackberry Bellini - A great tart berry tea. The berry flavor isn't overpowered, like many berry teas that just taste like juice. You get the tart berry flavor with a perfect compliment of tea flavor. My favorite of the berry teas in this pack. - Nutty Almond Cream - Basically a liquid version of a Nature Valley crunchy granola bar. There isn't much steep potency so you need a lot to get a decent amount of extraction, but it's very good. One of my favorites of the set. - Blueberry Wild Child - Extremely strong flavor and high extraction potency. I put in the typical amount for a kettle and it swelled up and extracted a ton of flavor, too much in fact. I made a second steeping and it was still very strong. I cut it again with more water and it was a nice strength. Use this sparingly. If you're on a budget, this will last you the longest. - Lavender Chamomile - Classic paring. Nice, traditional flavor. - Passion Berry Jolt - Generic berry flavored tea. If I didn't know what it was called I wouldn't be able to distinguish it from other berry teas. - Fireberry - Cranberry tea. This was my least favorite of the berry blends. I did not like this one. The best I can describe it is that it tasted like wood and medicine. - Maui Mango - Tastes like honey water. Not sure I would considering it a tea. -------Other Flavors------- - Orange Tango - Straight up orange tea. No other flavors or complexity. If you like orange tea, this is a solid choice. - Pomegranatopia - Smells and tastes like a fruit roll-up at first. Flavor mutes as you drink - Peach Party - Great peach flavor. Subtle, but definite. Solid choice for peach lovers. - Lemon Ginger Turmeric - Very potent. It tastes like strep throat. Like if you have a really sore throat and you get this raspy burning feeling down your throat? This causes that. You start with a clear throat and it makes it feel that raspy burn. Use half or a third the normal amount for a pot. Tastes like the ingredients listed. I didn't like this one, definitely my least favorite tea I've ever had. - Meyer Lemon Zest - Smells like lemon starburst. The taste is kind of like a lemon drop candy. It has a sweetness, rather than sour. It's more lemongrass forward, not lemon. Orange peel and eucalyptus make an appearance on the back end. Quite good for a lemon tea. - Cherry punch - Nice cherry flavor. I normally don't like cherry flavored things because they tastes like cough medicine, but this is a very enjoyable cherry flavor. - Ginger Sweet Peach - Very ginger forward. Not much peach flavor, but I think the peach mellows the ginger out, so it doesn't have quite the bite. It does have a fruity undertone, just not distinctly peach. If you like a more muted ginger tea without being smacked in the mouth with it, this is for you. - Pineapple blues - Oddly not pineapple flavored. If I didn't know what it was called, I couldn't tell. Slight mango/peach aftertaste, which mango is one of the ingredients. Basically fairly generic with a hint of mystery fruit. - Pineapple Sangria - Slight pineapple on the front and sangria on the back, a little apple taste as well, and a weird spice that I can't place. It has rose hips and rose petals, but unfortunately they don't come through. It's good, but there are just too many competing ingredients that make it a hodgepodge of random flavor. - Chai Love - A fairly weak Chai. It has the chai flavor, but light on the cinnamon and the normal spicy punch. Good for people who want a more flavorful black tea, but don't want to go overboard on the kick.
