Is this food soft or hard

it is hard. IF your ferret is a baby the instructions are on the bag as how and when to give the ferret hard of soft food. when a baby it will tell you how long to add water to it and when NOT to. As they get older they need hard kibble. I buy this and mix with wysong (a better i think quality ferret food) my vet says it is a good mixture. i found that giving wysong alone would cause stools to be too soft and watery . Stools are supposed to be Formed .I find my pet feels and acts much better with the mix. NOTE: their stomachs are very sensitive. they will need to be gradually introducted to new food.per my vet. Count the pellets of new food. and slowly increase the amount over time. I would suggest maybe 5 to start with.
