A rare 5-star review. The cats, my wife and I have never been disappointed by any of the things we've gotten from Cat Amazing. This toy is a great example. It is well made, easily worth what we paid for it, and we find no defects, no small things that say it was made in a hurry. The wand is strong metal, not the cheap, fragile junk so much is made from. It's extendable, moves smoothly, and doesn't make me be as careful as the other flimsy little things others make do. The attachment at the tip of it is welded. The cord that connects the wand to the toy part is strong, and replaceable if it ever fails. The toys at the end are magnetically connected to another magnet on the cord end. Magnet is strong enough to stay connected, but gives so a cat can actually catch the thing. That's important. The magnets are secure, so cat's can't chew it off and swallow it. There are replacement toys, a package of five, plus two in the pack with the wand. Our cats love this thing! I've made similar toys for them, so I feel qualified to recommend this product. Cat Amazing sourced a strong wand for it, I couldn't find one as good as this. The magnets are just right. The toys are varied. The whole thing is just great, according to the cats. We agree with them, because cats. We recommend this thing, and anything else Cat Amazing makes. We've tried them all, and never once have they failed to be amazing. This earned a full five stars. I was excited with the idea of a cat wand toy that has a detachable toy. Hunting, catching, "killing" is a natural instinct for cats - and play that accomplishes this cycle is healthy for our pets. On the end of the wand toy string is a fully encased magnet - the feather, soft animal (and more types sold in an add-on pack) each also have a safely encased magnet. The magnets are just the right strength for an active session of hunting. As in real life as soon as a cat catches its target, it can grabbed, pounced on. Cats often shake their prey toy, and the game continues because kitty has made a catch - no strings attached 😁. Now kitty is free to complete this play cycle more satisfactorily because, ta-da! Kitty has Successfully won its prize. Now, the design features. This a strong, well build play equipment. The wand collapses to self-store and provides a tangle free cord storage. I appreciate the rod length options-fully extended for large area playing, or proportionalized size for timid cats or a smaller play area. I could continue on praising features of this cat wand. But to bottom line it: This wand is unique in a few keys areas. It is sturdy, and soundly made for years of play. Prey that can be pounced on or plucked out of the air, and become the cats hunt. They truly name a capture and are free to strut their stuff, of pull it off to hide. One of my cats frequently douses her prey in her water fountain before offering it as a prize to those she loves. Every cat family needs at least on of these! This is a best of the best find for me!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The idea of this wand toy is really cool and something new! Two unique highlights: (1) the toy is attached to the want string with a magnet so when the cat “catches” it, it comes off and the cat can truly catch the toy. (2) due to the magnetic attachment, you can swap out what toy to attach to keep your cat interested over time AND you can attach your own custom toy if desired. Overall, this wand is great and my cat loves it. The wand and toys are all high quality and it has a convenient notch at the bottom so you can easily and neatly wrap the string up to store it. The one aspect that could use a little improvement is the strength of the magnet. It’s pretty sensitive and the toy detaches very easily. For some cats this might be fine, but for more “heavy pawed” cats, sometimes the toy comes off too quickly and they can’t get a full chase in (a couple times the toy detached as I was swinging the wand aggressively - so again, magnets may be weak for cats who like fast and furious play).

All four of my cats absolutely love this cat wand! The shock on their faces the first time they realized they could carry the feather toy away! They will jump in the air for it when they get super excited. They sometimes run away with whatever toy attachment I have on the cat wand. I have fun watching them and going after them for the toy. Some other things to note, make sure to put away after playing. Everyone’s cats are different but mine love to chew the string if I give them a chance. Same with plastic bits. It feels sturdy and good quality. Collapsible design makes it easy to store away. It does feel pricey, but definitely worth it in my opinion. It comes with just one attachment toy, but I noticed you can hook on your own homemade toys on the magnetic end attached to the feather toy. I’m lazy and bought the attachment pack lol. The cats love them all. Kevin the orange cat loves the crinkle ball attachment. Also magnetic end of cat wand can swing back and hit you lol. I was so shocked and laughed.

This cat toy seemed like a great idea - my cats love the fishing wands and this one is designed to actually let them "catch" their prey. The rod is collapsible and feels VERY sturdy and is neatly designed with grooves to store the line when not in use. It also comes with a duplicate feather toy. However, 3 design flaws: 1) The clasp is magnetic. It's a pretty strong magnet so that you can fling the toy around and not detach through normal movement. That's great. Unless you live somewhere in tight quarters with metal bits around like heater covers, nails in floorboards etc. and that strong magnet just sticks to everything else instead. 2) The clasp is a plastic cap. I have wooden floors so it is LOUD. 3) The clasp looks small enough to swallow and not permanently attached to the feather toy (you slip it like threading a paperclip). So unfortunately this toy will see little use in my household. But if you have carpets, large open spaces to play, and can overlook the clasp, it should be a fun time.

Update 11/10/23: The company reached out to the beta testers based on all the feedback they got about the weak magnets and sent us an updated, stronger magnet for free! All the attachments now stay put until the kitties pull on them! That’s why I updated my review from 4 to 5 stars . This is an amazing company that truly cares about making exceptional products for kitties. ===== I love the wand and the idea! The Catamazing team did it again! The kitties went crazy over it, even forgot to bug me for breakfast. The wand is sturdy and once you extend it, it stays securely extended and doesn’t willy-nilly retract. I also love that you can quickly get another toy while one kitty is playing with the one they just “caught” , and entertain the other kitty. With other wand toys they need to play in series and my male cat loses interest. The one and only thing I would change about this wand is having a stronger magnet . The feather is pretty heavy and thrashing it alone sometimes releases it. I also want my cat to catch and pull vs just tap and have it flying off the magnet . They were caught by surprise when they got the toy and the wand was still in the air . 7 out of 10 times they would keep chasing the string with the orange magnet at the end 🤣 Even as is, I still recommend it, you may need to adjust how you play with it to keep it the toy on the wand a bit longer .

My “little beast”, as I refer to her, is so play motivated and LOVES her new toys. The wand provides great length, not only to make attachments really fly high, but also make it easier to reattach the magnets. The magnets are strong enough to reattach just by getting wand end and close and they are also strong enough to create some resistance while still letting her pull the toy away. A great bonus is that the magnets attach to the front door and can be pulled up and down, providing different type of play. The wand also has a nice clip on the end to secure the string while not in use (although we have not actually used that particular piece yet since I have not been allowed a lot of down time since receiving). I want to also add that this company is amazing and their customer service is top notch. They are so helpful, friendly and quick to respond. It’s a well made product from a great company and we are truly impressed!!!

Fantastic toy — my cat absolutely loves it and goes wild every time I bring it out! It’s super fun, easy for him to detach the toy himself, and I love how it folds up neatly for quick storage. After lots of energetic play, I’ve noticed it can detach from the wand a bit more easily than at first, and the feathers on the attachments wear out quicker than I’d prefer — but that just shows how much fun he’s having with it! Occasionally it gets caught on furniture during play, but it’s nothing that takes away from the enjoyment. Overall, it’s a wonderful toy that keeps my cat entertained and active — I’d happily recommend it to any cat owner!

Amazing cat toy!

My two boys, Maple & Onyx, LOVE feather 🪶 toys & wands. They absolutely loved this wand & the feather attachment. The wand is high quality and durable. I don’t foresee it breaking anytime soon. Our cats are pretty rough on their toys and have broken wands in the past. I am confident this wand will be around in our house for years to come. It’s easy to use & retracts very small for storage when not in use. Overall I’m VERY please with my purchase and I would/will be considering purchasing more items from this brand/seller. The feathers are great quality which I also appreciate as my boys LOVE to lick and chew on them & these feathers are holding up to their silliness. The wand is also a nice long length when fully extended, but can be adjusted shorter as well.

Good range of designs and material quality. Nice colors and use of applications, especially the croc attachment. It's a shame the magnets are really weak and the 3d printed part is not rigid or robust to continually use. The magnets aren't strong enough to hold a swing back and forth.

Why has no one else thought of this before ever?! This is brilliant and enables kitty to express her real hunting instincts when she "catches the prey" without dragging and whipping a large plastic rod around the house.
