Q: Ok I purchased these for solar out door lights and they have been out in the yard for over a week why don't they light?

Mine were so dim I went an purchased batteries for solar lights from Batteries Plus because I know they work. (I also purchased the charger so I could pre charge them before I put them outside as we were still in Winter mode.) I would not purchase these again. As a matter of fact I tried to return them but missed the return window my a day. These are junk!

Q: The batteries in my solar lights are ni-cd aa 900m ah 1.2v---can i get one that is 1000m instead? what does that even mean?

900mAh indicates the battery capacity. This Tenergy AA NiCd battery has a larger capacity of 1000mAh and will extend the run time for your solar lights.

Q: can you use a Ni-MH battery charger to charge Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries?

You certainly can use a smart charger to charge different types of batteries without worry. Like this one - EBL 906 Smart Charger. I have been using a similar one for years with different battery chemistries and battery sizes etc. It is worth paying more for a smart charger.

Q: can these be used in RC aircraft

This battery/listing are aimed for outdoor solar lights. However, if the RC aircraft is compatible with AA NiCD batteries, then these should work
