This is a great device: the perfect way to add rear surround speakers (or any channel tbh) without trailing cables across the room. It works straight out of the box and to anyone who can already hook up speakers to an AV receiver/amplifier, it’s a piece of cake. There are other options available on the market - with digital or analogue pass through but they are fussy and disrupt your amp’s auto setup and don’t turn up down along with your tv remote like this one does. They have kept it simple so it does what it should do and no more, perfectly.

I have been meaning to connect up the rear speakers on my surround sound system for years but did not want to run cables. This wireless solution is ideal, quick and easy to set up and cannot fault the sound quality. Having rear speakers working makes such a difference to the sound especially on movies and sports. Early days but quality looks decent so hopefully it will last.

It works and has got me in good books for finally removing the cables the went around the skirting boards.. doesn't sound anywhere near as good or subtle as when they were wired but for the money it's a good enough solution

I have been using a Denon AV Receiver for a simple 5.1 Surround Sound experience for many years. Unfortunately the rear left speaker recently failed due to a break in the flat cable hidden under the perimeter of the laminate flooring. The Anywhere 221 saved the day! Removing the skirting board and laminate flooring to replace the cable would have been a mammoth and expensive task. The Anywhere 221 was simple to install and as far as I can establish the quality is sufficient for rear speakers which generally only add ambient sound and effects. This is a well priced product which is simple to install and does the job.

I bought this to replace the marmitek 220 system i have had for a couple of years which has always suffered from clipping but this got much worse on one channel. The 221 seems better and is not clipping at the moment ( only had it a few days so time will tell ) and hopefully will last longer than the 220 but i have taken out a 3 year warranty just in case.

Excellent and easy to set up. I had a two piece system (one for each speaker) but it died. Lovely to have proper surround sound again. Used with Sony SSS

Quite a lot of obvious clipping, disappointing sound quality.

I had to resort to this when we decided to move the home theatre setup within the room, but couldn't put dedicated surround speaker cables under the carpet. This seemed like a feasible idea, and suited my AV receiver (which didn't have RCA outputs for those speakers, only speaker power outputs). The units were very simple to install (would have helped to have the legending for the terminals in a contrasting print colour, rather than just the barely visible moulded black plastic lettering, but otherwise OK). Plugged it up, tried it with some Movie material with lots of effects, adjusted the level to suit, on the receiver unit, and all well !

Definitely would recommend anyone who wants a wireless rear speaker set up to get these
