Non uk plug/voltage
I bought this for several reasons but a big one is seeing all the uk based good reviews. I’ve just received mine but didn’t expect the non uk style plug and that it’s 115v? What do I do? Send it back..,? Spend more money on a step down transformer? Looks as though it’ll cost me over £100 to buy one of those 😩 Any advice would be great

It’s 110 v
Won’t work without a transformer has an American plug on no indication inadvert I’ve either been sent the wrong one or totally scammed

Didn't work for me
Bought this based on all of the good reviews. Honestly, it did not pick up a single drop of water. It detected the changes in the humidity but never actually worked. Returning it. I'm guessing I got a dud or something. Update 04/26: Weirdly enough right after this review, it started working. It works okay, but it takes forever.

No support/customer service for this brand, only a non-response email.
It was great for about 2 years, now it just continually freezes up. We've tried everything in the manual, cleaning, etc., but it continues to continually freeze up within a day. We have tried contacting the Support email several times with no reply at all. There doesn't seem to be any support, customer service for the company at all; no website, no phone number, only an email address that no one replies to. Any thoughts of getting any replacement parts seem to be void. IT just seems like a disposable product - very sad and frustrated at this moment. There is NO support/customer service for this brand, only a non-response email. Please enlighten me if there is any other support options available, because I can't find any.

Works well
This was my first experience with a dehumidifier. I have a mother in law suite attached to my garage. This unit is approximately 1000 sq ft, and has a window unit. The space was seldom used, so the window unit was rarely turned on. I live in south Mississippi, and our humidity levels are extremely high right now. Unfortunately, I noticed active mold growing on a few pieces of the furniture that was stored in the suite. After researching, this size dehumidifier was recommended, even though the suite is 1000 sq ft, because of the active mold found. It was very easy to connect, and I have been using the automatic setting. I empty out the water tank 1x daily (will eventually have it drain into the sink). It doesn’t take up much space, and it is quiet. I’m very pleased, and would recommend this product.

Grow tent
Put in 4x8 grow tent. Let sit for 24 hours upright before using as per the manual instructions. Installed drain hose and fed through bottom tent zipper to Styrofoam that came with unit to catch the drained water. Tent hunidity was 80%. Turned on at 10:50am. Emptied around a little over a liter around 6 hours later. Went to bed. Woke up at around 3am. Unit was off due to humidity reached the set point of 50% RH. Forgot to empty water before bed but luckily it reached the set point and shut off before it overflowed. Overall tent noise seems the same even with it running. Unit is small which made it easier to fit into tent. It actually lowered the humidity level to set point which actually matches 2 other humidity sensor readings. Didn't suck the moisture out of the pots, just the air so far. Seems to be a good addition to a grow tent to precisely control environmental conditions. 4 stars which is alot for a review based on less than 24 hours use. Still need to find out longevity and what its like from day to day. Container size the drain hose goes to is limited due to its gravity fed meaning the container has to be below the drain hose spout, which is inches from the ground, so, would have to put the unit on a higher surface in order to put drain hose to a 5 gallon bucket but the unit is on wheels so I wouldn't feel comfortable it would stay in place vs if it had no wheels and had pegs with rubber bottoms for anti slip. If the water was pumped through the drain hose via a small water pump installed inside the unit with a one way valve to prevent water going back to unit that would allow for the unit to be on ground level and have the hose come out the bottom and be able to be fed up to the opening of a 5 gallon bucket. For now im just happy it does what I need and the hose was able to be fed out the bottom of the tent so I can empty the collected water without having to open the tent every time. Just would be nice to be able to drain to 5 gallon bucket to only have to empty maybe once a week

The best LITTLE dehumidifier ever, but did I get scammed?
For the people that have had / will have failures with these, a quick tip. The delivery guy delivered both of my units upside down despite the first not being over packaged and clearly having “the side up” arrows. I would imagine most of the failures with these are due to units being similarly delivered, flipped over and immediately plugged in and run, which is death on a sealed refrigerant system, either immediately or in relatively short order. If the unit is delivered upside down, you wanna be sure to stand it up right for at least three or four hours, or ideally overnight before starting. And so first off, these are amazing little dehumidifiers. LITTLE (in water capacity, but not function) being the operative word. These little suckers will easily take out 25 to 30 pints of water per day. They are whisper quiet, even on the higher fan setting. The compressor noise is quite acceptable, you can easily sleep with one in the room. The unfortunate problem as mentioned in many reviews is the 5 pint size of the water reservoir. Indeed, in a large humid room, I have measured 28 pints removed in a day, which means six reservoir drains over the course of the day. The little included drainage hose is great. If you have a floor drain, you will absolutely not care about the reservoir capacity. However, if you don’t have a floor drain it is incredibly frustrating. But otherwise, as far as functionality and capacity for water removal for the physical size of the unit and price, you just can’t beat this thing. Where in lies my question if I got scammed. I ordered my first unit a few weeks before Prime day as an “early sale” and it was advertised as a 1500 foot room, 22 pints per day unit, on sale for $99. Aside for the capacity of the water tank I was incredibly happy with it, ended up putting it in my garage with the drain hose snaked out under the corner of the garage door. This amazing little unit will bring the 4 car garage down from 89% humidity well into the 60s over 48 or so hours with absolutely no effort. Being so impressed but frustrated about the reservoir capacity, during Prime day I ordered the 2000 foot 30 pint per day unit, on a better sale versus its original stated price again costing $99. Imagine my surprise when I received the exact same unit, same model numbers, exact same. When I had ordered the webpage still showed both options pictured and you could toggle between items/prices. However, now when I go back to my orders , although the listed descriptions on my order list are different, they both go to the exact same active page which no longer matches the order description from the original unit. I kind of think if there were originally two different sizes, I probably have ended up with two of the smaller, and likely despite the description that is what is currently being sold though the unit certainly meets the specifications stated as it would easily take out 30 pints a day, and indeed has a .528 gallon reservoir. In the end, since I’m still so impressed by these little guys, and since it was the same $99 either way I kept them both but sure would like a larger reservoir for the one I’m running in my kitchen.
