I bought this for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. He's a fisherman, and kayaker this is actually the second Engel bait tank he's had, the first one he's had for about 5 years and still works great he just wanted to upgrade to a new color. The durability is a 10 out of 10. This is the 19 Quarts size. The aerator works great, it is extremely well insulated keeps the water ice cold and constantly moving so that the fish bait don't die inside. Definitely worth it! The weight would depend on how full of water ya put in it. But without water it's between 5 and 7 lb estimated guess.

I have an engle cooler, and it's awesome,Heavy duty. This isn't quite as heavy duty as my cooler but it works well only downside No drain plug on it ... So i'm going to give it four stars based on on that. I ran the aerator for 6 days in a row with no issues changed out the water Every 2 days and out of 6 dozen minnows, I lost 6 or 7... So all in all it works well.I'd give it five stars of it at a drain plug on it

I have used this bait keeper several times. Bait remains alive the entire time it is in the cooler. Aerator on/off switch is easy to trip. Recommend getting a different aerator. Lid is heavy so cooler will fall over if empty. Latches will not lay flat against cooler when not latched. It is a bit annoying as the latch will lock the cooler from time to time when I don’t want it to lock. Still, very happy with purchase.

After two 1 day uses the pumps operates apparently runs , but does not flow hardly any air. Did not keep my shrimp alive for but an hour or two. Very disappointed ! My old 5 gallon bucket Mr. Bubbles looks like heck at 8 years old. But the original pumps works just as it should. I now have and expensive but nice looking 19gt cooler.

Bough unit last August 2023. Box has been fine; why I gave it 3 stars. Battery operated Pump is another story. Very Lightly used over the past 9 months. It stopped working over night while plugged into Engel 120V adaptor. Changing battery did not fix. Engel has a trouble shooting video on their website; too old to disassemble something this small. Bottom line is the pump, my pump anyways, isn't very reliable. Have not, nor will I, try their lithium pump.
