The author used as many words as possible. Half the book is on using solar to heat water. My expectations were to get the beginnings of creating electricity. The heart of a solar system is the inverter. This is only mentioned once, "A photovoltaic system is basically made up of: An air conditioning and power control system (inverter).". That quote pretty much explains how ridicules the entire book is.

There are no diagrams, so there’s no way I can use the book to explain where to connect gauges. The second book. It was the same thing no diagrams to help explain anything books are on air conditioning and Solar.

This book definitely not for beginners. I was hoping to use this as an intro to solar for my high school homeschoolers but they wouldn’t get through the first page without a headache. First- there are literally ZERO images- no diagrams, photos, schematics- NOTHING to illustrate the different systems described. Instead you imagine the systems as described in the text. Which is probably super straightforward for someone who is NOT a beginner. See attached photo- this list of components could easily have been accompanied by a diagram showing the relationship between each item. Second- the author is clearly an intelligent guy and writes as if he’s the smartest kid in class. I expect to learn new vocabulary when learning a new skill- I’m not even talking about the technical terms directly relating to the topics, that’s to be expected. But the indirect terms that are still rather technical but have no explanation, as well as the random obscure words sprinkled in, and the convoluted sentence syntax will cause you to reread sections and Google word definitions. Lastly- not related to beginner or novices- the font and text/background contrast makes this book visually hard to read. Many headings are scrunched together making the whole heading look like one word. And some section have white text on a grey background or vice versa. See photo for an example of the squished headings. Overall- not a beginner book- and both visually and cognitively hard to read. Still have it 2 stars because I did learn a bit about the different types of solar energies.

This is a fake book, most likely written by AI. Contains useless information most likely copied from the internet or generated by AI. Book contains no diagrams. Do not buy. This is a scam.
