Works fine, a data sheet would be great!
Recognised by Win 10 PC as a USB drive by simply plugging into the Micro USB port. Comes pre-configured with 9 small MP3 files each one contains the voice of someone speaking the file number in Mandarin, simply replace these files with your own renamed ones and you are in business. The most important information relates to the 3 mode switches which change the way the playback mode is triggered, I have attached this missing information here for you. I could not find their own web site for help. It is possible to interface to Arduino as well, simple coding, again you need to search for that information. A very good value device for adding sounds, voice or alerts to your home projects. Does not come with data sheet, header pins or a USB cable, or a speaker but that keeps the cost down. UPDATE: Couple of extra points: These boards are very dependent on a good supply voltage - lower supply to 4.2V it will still function but only at lower volumes, so you will need a buck converter supply to run from a 3.7V LiPo cell. Another issue is that in stand-alone mode, triggering inputs with a solid ground (which remains grounded) produces constant repeat playback of the relevant sound file over and over. Only by removing the ground (or power) will stop the playback, these boards are not single-shot playback so it may be necessary to employ schmitt trigger circuits if you need to prevent this or use the Arduino UART mode. None of the three program switch positions have any affect on constant repeat playback, which is a shame for my application.

Works Great
I needed an mp3 player for a project of mine and came across this. It has 4MB of flash memory, which is plenty if you use mp3 format files. The real bonus is the 3-5 watt class D amplifier. The sound from this on board unit is very good. Now, depending on how you use it, you will need to follow the details in the pdf user manual which is downloadable. You can address the board using UART serial connection, or just wire the 8 inputs to buttons. The board can be powered via USB but only if there is no connection to the RX TX connections. That is, not a PC connection, but a plug-in USB charger should be ok. A good item and good price.

Good device though power it from header not USB.
Bought this for a plasma gun prop from the Fallout series I'm making. It took me a while to figure out that you need to power it from the header pins and not USB as it wont do anything if the USB data pins are connected. It will kind of work powering it from USB but you need to pull the cable out slightly so the data pins disconnect. Overall a good little board and perfect for adding sound effects to my prop.

Faulty
I was quite dismayed to see no data supplied with something quite complicated. I was able to find the information I needed by typing the make and model number into the internet. After setting it all up there was no sound coming from the speaker when operated. I was able to transfer an audio file into it and could play it back into the computer, but that's all that worked. I'm sending it back to Amazon.
