Did what it is supposed to do. Did have to build up on metal rods to get height wanted. Did not come with any instructions, so spent some time researching it online to get it figured out.

Good turbine but requires a base to be made to be made in order to mount it. Specs provided in instructions but base had to be machined and welded which added to the expense of the turbine.

The paint job is the only thing good about this wind generator. The first problem the buyer faces is mounting the unit on a tower. The simplest method for me was to have the base plate welded to a 1.5" pipe coupler. This raises problems in that there is barely enough space on the base plate to weld without obstructing the bolt holes. Further, it's odd that the base is smaller in diameter than the wind turbine's base it bolts to. I did finally manage to get the turbine mounted to the pole. The rest of the assembly was easy. Next came the wiring to the charge controller and that's super simple. It would almost have to be deliberate to wire it wrong. By the way, there is a very poor instruction sheet with a language translation that suggests they might not have command enough of the English language to give accurate instructions. Once the turbine was wired I had a green light on the charge controller but there is no indication on the instruction sheet for what that means. In the week I allowed for testing the unit the green light never extinguished. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised. I never saw the wind turbine turn a single revolution. From my rooftop, I could see the wind turbines of three neighbors and all of their turbines were spinning - fast! As for the question of whether the charge controller was signaling that my batteries were fully charged, no, they were not. As I said, I allowed a week to see the generator turn and it never did. Needless to say, I'm sending it back.As an afterthought, I'm not a novice with wind generators. I've had one for eighteen years that finally failed beyond cost-effective repairs. Was hoping this would be a suitable replacement.

Today the wind speed is 10 to 16 mile per hour, the turbine turn to the direction of the wind but the propels did not spin. The motor is too stiff for the wind to turn, I guess I have to waite for the tornado for it to spin.

Doesnt generate in low wind like it claims. Junk.
