I was dismayed when the hose on my WaterPik began to leak. I didn't think about repairing it. I didn't know I could. I was looking at replacing the whole unit, but prices had really gone up since I bought mine. Looking at new units, however, also brought up listings of available parts to repair them. I got lucky with this choice as it fit perfectly and went on easily.

This is a direct replacement of the factory handle and hose. No leaks. Great value to extend the life of the Waterpik. The hose is softer and appears to be better because the factory one was stiff and brittle so it breaks at the handle after repeated bending during use. Factory attachments work fine.

Works well and fits great . I like the wand better than the original. The coiled tube is pretty stiff and makes the wand hard to use .

If you're time is worth more than $10 an hour, save yourself time and money by purchasing the Waterpik factory original hose/handle instead of this low quality knock/off. 1) Make sure your wrists are in good shape, as the genuine Waterpicks take a LOT of effort to seat in the handle to where the click in place, and as much effort to remove. I tried the Waterpick nozzles before installation to make sure they would fit, and decided I could probably live with the tough fit. 2) The instructions and postage stamp sized pictures are printed on the small side of the box. Fortunately it is not a complicated install, because the photos are pretty useless. Undo 2 screws at tthe end of the hose on the base, remove the screws, pull the hose gently out of the track, and pry out the fitting in the base - doesn't take much effort. Install the new one in the reverse order as removing the old one. 3) After doing the installation, place the waterpik base on a towel before starting, in case it leaks at the base. (Mine didn't - they got ONE thing right!) 4) Fill the reservoir, insert a waterpick tip, and turn it on. For me, the stream looked pretty weak, not like the old handle. Surprise! water - a LOT of water - was coming out the base of the handle where the hose inserts into the handle!!! Permanently sealed, not returnable. 5) clean up counter and floor from the water leak. 6) Repackage the new unit in the box it came in, refund through Amazon. 7) Amazon doesn't carry the real Waterpick part, - even at the Waterpik Amazon store (???) so check on line where to find it.

Part arrived in good condition. Prompt delivery. Part was as advertised, easy to install and tested. Worked great. Recommended.
