High quality, but smells horrible... because it is high quality ... I have mixed feelings about this supplement, but can't fault them for delivering a high quality product... I think I will just stick with Brazil nuts for selenium after I'm done with the bottle.... (Note: It should smell horrible; that's how you know it's actually high quality) Make sure you have a strong stomach if you want to take this!

Hight quality supplement. I'll continue buying from them

So, I've been dealing with moderate, persistent adult acne for a long time. And I've tried lots and lots of different treatments (oral medications, topicals, supplements, and even diets) in an attempt to treat this. Well, this supplement is the ONLY thing that has ever made a significant difference to my skin. After using this for just 1 week, my acne reduced by a good 80-90%%. After 3 weeks, it was down to 95%. And my acne was pretty bad before. I didn't just have it on my face but also all over my chest and back. What's strange though is that I already get plenty of selenium through my diet? I try to eat a diet that is as nutrient-dense & omnivorous as possible (lots of fish, eggs, nuts/seeds, mushrooms, leafy greens, berries, grass-finished beef, beans & lentils, root vegetables, whole grains, etc.). And whenever I've tracked my micronutrient intake using Cronometer (not promoting this) it always shows that I'm getting plenty of Selenium (often times significantly more than the RDA/DV). So why would a Selenium supplement basically cure my acne if I was already getting enough from my diet, you ask? I did read somewhere that modern agricultural methods have depleted our soils, and therefore our food, of Selenium. And that RDA/DV amounts are defined by what is needed to prevent an outright deficiency and don't necessarily represent optimal levels. I don't know how true this is. All I can say is that this Selenium supplement works for me. I do worry about taking 200mcg Selenium every day long-term (since that's 3.64x the Daily Value). Apparently, you can cause in imbalance in other minerals in your body this way. So, I've started to take one capsule every other day, and so far I haven't seen any changes. (Also, I tried the more common Selenomethionine form of Selenium and that gave me weird side effects like anxiety/overstimulation. This form (selenocysteine) doesn't give me any side-effects)

Good supplement for the price

Great supplement. I take daily with some other body support supplements.

Taking supplements can expensive, but being healthy is worth the cost. I am not a doctor so I can't prescribe anything, but this substance is necessary for our bodies to fight off disease... most notably cancer. This product was not expensive and it does have a slight odor that I don't find objectionable as I feel that it indicates that it is indeed what it claims to be. Do I feel healthier because of this product? That's hard to say as I've recently included other important substances in my diet, I do feel better than I have in years as I have fewer aches and pains.

Hopefully this product is doing what it's supposed to, but the smell!!! I will look for another brand when I use up this bottle. It smells and tastes horrible!

Great stuff! Made a huge difference, but be patient. It took about 4 weeks to see it, but it works!
