dav Women's Bristol Rain Boot

I saw this and definitely wanted to purchase it since it is more stylish and more than half the price compared to Hunter boots. I got the brown ombre ones. I especially love the lining in them. I had a fairly cold winter this year and surprisingly, these boots kept me very WARM in -30C and occasionally even colder with the wind chill (I promise I'm not exaggerating)! I walked through slush, snow, and now that it is just now warming up, small to huge puddles. I even played about 3 hours in snow going sledding. When walking in the colder weather, my feet were warm however, you definitely need warm socks. I had my typical fuzzy ones; I did not at all use those liners like the Hunter ones. If you are standing in place and not moving, your toes do get cold and quite fast in a matter of 15 minutes or less. Currently it is no colder than -4C and I continue to wear them until all the snow has melted and there are no more puddles.They are definitely waterproof so they are easy to clean. They look exactly like they do in the picture. My ONLY ISSUE would be that you do need to go a size up, whether you will be wearing thick or regular socks for it fits a little narrow. I am usually a 7 so I went up to an 8. Other than that, I am quite happy with my purchase!

I want these boots SO badly. I love how their are lined. I love how they look. And the footbed itself is great. However, I can't keep them because of the way they fit. I'm 6.5 and ordered a 7. Had their been a 7.5 to order, that's what I would have done. The boots are too tight no matter what socks I wear...thin, heavy. I'm surprised how tightly they fit in the heel because I have such a narrow heel. I'm a dog walker who needs boots that can be comfortably worn and walked in all day long. I'm so disappointed that I can't keep them.

The package arrived a day later than the latest estimated arrival time. I don't really see that as the distributer's fault though because they sent it out pretty fast, some shipment place just had a delay for a day or two (I tracked the package pretty well and that happened). However, I understood 9 B(M) to be a US 9, basically a medium. I am always a size 9, have been for like 3 or 4 years. The boots were way too small. The lining is SUPER nice though. Insanely cushioney and soft and warm and comfortable. Just not the right size. The ombre color is also not as chestnut brown as the picture shows. For these reasons I am choosing to return the item.

These stylish rain boots are cute enough to wear even in dry weather. They have a wonderful soft lining and would be warm in cold weather. They do run small so order a size or two up as no half sizes. I was going to return these as a rivet which holds the adjustment strap was missing, however on closer inspection, I discovered the rivets weren't necessary at all and the top strap would easily stay up where it belongs when you buckle it after putting it on so I actually kept them. They are so cute, my teen daughter had to have a pair too. Any time either of us wear these boots we get tons of compliments and people ask where we bought them! They look nice in the photos, but even better in person when you receive them. My daughter normally wears a 8.5 and bought a 10. I normally wear a 10 and bought an 11, but honestly wish they came in a 12 but the 11s will do with very thin socks. This particular boot style is not for someone who needs a wide shoe or a wide calf boot.

This is an excellent pair of boots but I ordered the same size I always wear but this time they are too small.

Very heavy. Didn't fit my foot correctly - a little too large.

I read all the reviews recommending I size up. I wear a 7.5 or an 8 and ordered an 8. If they offered half sizes, I would have ordered an 8.5 but I was hesitant to go up to a 9. The 8's fit. I had bare feet. There was no extra room but I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I would imagine a thin sock wouldn't make much of a different but I wouldn't be able to pull of a thick one (but I don't wear thick ones). It is very cozy inside. My feet were a little sweaty for autumn. It had rained a lot but by the time I was leaving for work the rain had stopped so I didn't get to really test them. I received a ton of compliments from students and colleagues alike. They are very smart looking. I have never owned a rain boot before so I was surprised by the "squeak" when they touch. The boot doesn't allow for a full range of ankle movement so driving feels odd. Getting them off was a challenge. I almost gave up and waited for my husband to come home but I finally did it. Not sure if it was due to the bare feet (but there's a very fuzzy interior), the fact that it's a rubber boot, the sizing or something else. I would definitely buy them again and I would tempted to size up.

Color/style-5 stars. Fit-3 starsI normally wear a 7.5, due to the warm lining the 8 is a tad snug, could have easily ordered a 9. Also somewhat snug on the calves, size up would have been perfect.The boot is beautiful in sable with its black contrast, can be worn either sporty, casual or with a dress. I feel with its fleece lining , it may be to warm to wear in late spring.
