Not uk made
Workable , but disappointed that the blender was not made in uk which I try hard to ensure . Hopefully the blender will be up to salters standards in the long run.

Bought this to replace a plastic one that my wife definitely did not melt... Sturdy, professional feel to it my main fear now is blending myself if pointing this in the wrong direction. This thing absolutely obliterates everything. Soups? Smooth. Sauces? Silky. Oversized lumps in pasta sauce? Gone without trace. I’m fairly certain it could puree a garden fence if the beaker was bigger. Super easy to clean and dismantle very happy and fully prepped for the eventuality I ever need to only eat through a straw.

Self-destructed after 18 months, the motor sounds like it's spinning but no longer spin the blade
