PuerTea cake is so tightly compressed it's impossible to separate leafs. It's impossible to brew 😮💨. Any suggestions?

So tight cake- mold possible not aged
I am so glad that this tea is offered in India and am familiar with these teas. The tea leaves dissolve in water, create a sludge. It should look like leaves when completed. The cakes are so tight it is impossible to break with blade and there are foreign particles that at the price for the tea is not acceptable.
