Sturdy and very easy to assemble. Not too heavy either. Collects the apples easily with no bruising. Good value for money. Arrived promptly. Would recommend.

The pole is very long, light and sturdy, and the head and collection bag are also very good.I am sure that it would be the ideal tool for apple picking, but not cherries.I used it today on my 20ft tall cherry trees ... place a bunch of cherries over the bag ... give it a tug, and 12 cherries fly into the air and two drop in the bag ... quite disappointing.I am keeping this purchase because the pole is first class ... having just ordered a specific head for cherry picking. ... Highly recommended with certain reservations.

I have an apple tree at the bottom of my garden. Because if where it is situated, it's way too dangerous to just prop a ladder up against it. So I bought this tool. It's perfect for getting at branches that are otherwise inaccessible.Three key practices I recommend.1. Have a practice on the lower branches first.2. Wait until the apples are ripe, so they come away from the tree easy enough.3. Don't be too rough if you want this to last.

The pole is really long when fully assembled which we needed and the mechanism to pick apples works really well.

The bracket connecting the pole is not sturdy and bends without much pressure Needs to be much stiffer and stronger to get more stars.

We have an enormous lemon tree and finding this picker was the best thing ever it’s great no lemons are now falling off the tree and wasted wish I’d found it years ago

Unless your tree is pruned and smaller, best I found to get the longer version and adapt it.Excellent and it does work . . . with a little care and practise. At full length it is flexible at the top so suggest just 3 max apples / pears etc before emptying the holder.Downside :The holder is attached with thin cotton thread. Eventually with rubbing against branches etc that may / might wear through. Re-stitch with fishing line ?The "teeth" to hook behind the fruit, while not sharp, have an edge necessary to cut through the stalk. A little care needed to not cut into the fruit while manoeuvring.Hence practise.
