Cooks Choice Chinese Marinade/Seasoning/Flavoring/Glaze/Meat Rub 60 Grams

This is the closest to the Chinese marinade used in shops that I have found so far. Probably not authentic Chinese flavour but it's the one that's used in UK mainstream shops and it's one I like too.

Make your own Chinese bbq ribs or anything else with this, very easy to use. However might be wise to boil your meat a little before covering with this and grilling/baking. The marinade has some sugar in it and would probably burn quickly if you're starting with raw meat thats thick. Or cook on low heat first to cook through without charring, then increase the heat to char and crisp the meat on the outside.

We love chinese chicken from the butchers so decided to give this a go and marinade ourselves .The packets had a lot more in than expected and i had 4 larch chicken breasts chopped , I simply sprinkled this on top then mixed then added bit more etc till used it all then covered with clingfilm and popped in the fridge.This looked great after 30 minutes it had all soaked into the chicken and I ooked it pan fried and was delicious, totally the same as you buy pre made , would definately use this all the time the taste and ease of use is fantastic.

Delivered in good time. Good value for money. This is very tasty Chinese Marinade. I used this on some chicken Thighs ( on the bone & skin ) & also on some chicken breast’s & wet the chicken & placed in separate roasting bags & put the Marinade in & gently shake the bags. It helps wetting the meat because it allows the marinade to stick & coat to your chosen meat or vegetables. I left to Marinade for a good hour and then placed in the oven and it was delicious, it went down well with the family and they all said how very tasty it was. So I would definitely buy again. Highly recommend.

This was a tester and I was happy enough, it was disconcertingly red, artificially so, the but ingredients are natural enough.The taste isn't ground breaking but it is good to lift up a bit of meat. Doubt I'd pick up the Chinese flavour again but it did make me think about trying the other flavours.

Delicious on chicken breast sweet & sticky will become a weekly staple - highly recommended.

I hope this product can be provide as a tubs it’s much more make it easier for me to store up in the cupboard ( easy n tidy) no need to find another empty jar to put remaining powder in it ( do u think is it a good idea)?
