Q: Are these OK for gerbils to eat?

Yes, so long as they are fed in moderation. You can give your gerbil one a week, nothing more. They are high in sugar, which isn’t great for hamsters or gerbils, but when given as a rare treat it is perfectly healthy.

Q: Are these good for dwarf hamsters too, such as a robo?

I had a Campbell's Dwarf Hamster many years ago and she loved these. The drops are about the size of a dime, so they are quite big for a dwarf hamster, but mine was still able to eat it, she just had to take small bites.

Vitakraft Sunseed gives most products a 2 year shelf life. The Drops with Strawberry should be good up to the expiration date given on the back of the bag, even after opening, as long as they are kept in a cool, dry location.
