SteelFreak Super Heavy Duty Pizza Oven Andiron (10-1/4 Inch)

I bought this to use in my Al Forno 4 pizze, and this size was perfect. It allowed me to lean pieces of wood against it for better air circulation than I'd get if I just piled the wood on the side of the oven. The YouTube channel of The Wood Fired Oven Chef uses this type of andiron, and if you watch one of his shows you'll see how he uses the andiron for small fires in his oven. It is heavy and sturdy and has seen its share of 1,000 degree fires in my oven. Highly recommend for wood fired pizza ovens.

Works exactly as described in a very hot pizza oven. Keeps the wood and heat going using less wood. Measure your oven inside and opening first before ordering. Arrived in a couple days.

When your fire is at the back of a larger wood-fired oven, the ashes block the airflow to the wood. This andiron is large, heavy, and built solid so the ashes fall below and you can pile fresh wood above. Works perfectly to add airflow for a hotter and easier-to-tend fire.

Got the 12.25” one for my 30” x 30” floor of my pizza oven and it works very well.
