Got this to convert Nikon lenses over to emount and it works well. Doesn’t have any contacts so auto focus and metadata doesn’t pull over but that’s plainly stated in the description and was expected. Besides not having AF has advantages and allows you to be more creative in how you approach shots. Biggest downside with manual focus, at least for my needs as mostly a video shooter, is using lenses that are designed for stills as it can be difficult to land focus on a consistent basis. However, taking all that into account - I would recommend this for those looking to make use of some fantastic Nikon glass on their Sony cameras.

Not the most attractive adapter but the fitment is tight and secure. I’m able to use some old Nikon lenses on my Sony cameras without trouble.

Normally anything I review from NEEWER usually gets five stars because their quality is so amazing with their products.But in this case, I had to give this one four stars, only because I wasn't able to get the Nikon lenses to focus very well. Even when I used focus-peaking (because this is a manual focus adapter), I just couldn't get a clear sharp picture. It might have something to do with the Nikon lenses but no matter what I tried, I just couldn't get nowhere near the image quality that I would normally get with my Sony lenses.I did have better success with the wider angle Nikon lenses as far as sharpness.....but the zoom lenses were definitely fuzzy.I have other adapters for Canon lenses that are actually electronic adapters and they do a fantastic job. So I probably won't be ordering any more manual focus adapters in the future.

this is a nice lightweight way to put nikon lenses on a sony camera.The adapter is strong yet not light weight and i can easily put a nikon 80-200mm lens or heavier on here without and issue.Everyone knows how classic nikon AI glass is so this s great to use for shooting video on sony cameras.Plus the price is much cheaper than other adapters. Making it a great buy.
