Great appearance, sizing needs some work
as other reviewers have noted, the headpiece is about three inches too small for my head or like any adult head. i had to add a panel of four inch elastic to make it usable. the chest was too small in circumference, but to be fair my chest measures 48 inches, above the average. i again used a panel of four inch elastic to give me some breathing room and not split the costume on a seam.

Unfortunately the portion of the headpiece matching the outfit was missing from the costume package. During the conversation with the customer care representative we learned that there are no additional missing pieces in the store nor any other Melchoir Costumes to replace this one. We were given a choice of returning the costume or a 15% discount. Since we need this costume, we have decided to make some adjustments of our own. The costume otherwise, is well made but would not do for a tall man.

Runs small on sizes
Not bad for a costume....however, the size is not a generous cut...this was the biggest size offered. Could not tie the back of the costume but the head piece went down low enough in the back to hide the opening around the neck. Was shiny and definitely looked impressive. Does not have much "give" in the material.

Great costume except for the matching headpiece.
Everything was fine except the headpiece is too small for a mans head and must be altered to fit due the lack of elasticity.

Wow! I bought this costume last year and LOVED IT! Not only was it completely inappropriate and offensive -- it fit really well too! J/K. We want this costume taken down!I thought wearing this costume would boil an entire culture down to a racist stereotype. And I was right: Turns out, I was representing the culture in a super inaccurate and unflattering way! We want this costume taken down!The best news: I wore the costume on Halloween to be funny. Then the next day I took it off, and I was just me again. Isn’t it awesome that I didn’t have to deal with the racism or oppression some people actually experience on a daily basis? Best Halloween ever! LOL BUT SERIOUSLY: take the costume down.
