Good part easy to install fixing holes didn’t line properly so had to adapt them but easy enough

Perfect … fitted in under 5 minutes. You may need to bend the tabs at the top where connectors fit on for exact fit.

If you watch the videos on Youtube you'll see replacing this part is easy. What they don't show you is replacing this part on a 10 year old well used oven. Its an easy job provided the 7 screws you need to remove come out easily. However on an older stove these screws maybe rusted in place. If they aren't its going to be a very easy job. I needed to use a combination of techniques to get the old screws out, several came out when gripped with a pair of long nosed mole grips and the others with a screwdriver fitted to a 1/4 inch socket set. I needed to clean out the rusted screw heads before attempting to use a bit on them. I might have made it more difficult for myself as I didn't bother removing the oven door as I could reach in to do the work with it in place. Once removed the original screws where so rusted as to have next to no thread left on them so I needed some replacements. I ordered https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09993X65 "220 Pcs Self Tapping Screws M3 M4 M5 Pan Head Screws Stainless Steel Countersunk Screws with Box Assortment Kit" at the same time as this element and that set had suitable screws for the job. What you need are M4 x 10mm screws for the element and while the original screws were M4 for the cover the holes were a little rusted to I replaced them with "fatter" M5 x 15 screws.

Eventually received the correct item as shown in the image of this product on Amazon.co.uk, but only after ordering 2 of them. The 2nd time, I ordered it from seller TSS, fulfilled by Amazon, and it was the correct element with the correct terminals as shown in the image. My first order was from Certified Supply Solutions and they sent me an element with the incorrect, vertically oriented double terminals that other buyers have also complained about in these reviews. Upon contacting the seller and showing them a photo of the problem, I was told that it was an "upgraded version" of the product with "spare connectors in case they get damaged". It sounded ludicrous, and it was: Indesit's website still sells this element with the correctly oriented terminals and no "upgrades". However, I went ahead anyway and fitted the element in my oven. The incorrectly oriented terminals made it a nightmare to push the element's terminals (once the power cables were connected) through the aperture at the back of my oven. The aperture is cut to accommodate horizontally oriented terminals, not vertical. So, even though it's working now, I still have some fun and games to look forward to when this element fails: I don't think I'll be able to remove the element terminals from the aperture without the connector cables snagging and coming off the terminals and getting lost behind the aperture, making them very difficult to retrieve. Hopefully it'll last a while so I can think about how to do that. At least I have the 2nd (correct) element as a spare, ready and waiting. So the 5* are for the element I received from seller TSS. For the other element from the other seller, take 2 or 3 stars off. If you do think about ordering this from Amazon, send an email first and get the seller you buy from to confirm that you'll be receiving an element with horizontally oriented terminals. Although the vertically oriented terminals can (just about) be accommodated it just isn't worth the headache. In the end I spent only a couple of pounds less than buying the correct element directly from Indesit.

The element was very easy to fit, total time to remove old and fit new approx 15 mins. Excellent product and first class delivery time.
