Great topside coat and easy to apply. Last for a few years and then had to redo a coat. Easy to apply with a roller and paint brush. Looks good for paint and not a gel coat.

I used this paint to put a protective layer in the engine bay of my boat. We just rebuilt a bunch of the interior and the old paint wasn't the easiest to clean and looked worn out. I think it turned out great! The white is very very white, it will reflect in the sun, I also painted the cubbies in the boat. I did use 2 coats of the paint on each piece. The paint is pretty thick and seems to have some self leveling factor which is great avoiding brush marks. The paint is dry to the touch in 4 hours but any thicker parts will take longer. I used one quart on the engine bay and I ordered another to do any trim pieces and the cubbies. I have about half a quart left over. This stuff smells strong, I would recommend a mask for the vapors. It's also very hard to clean off skin and brushes so gloves are a must. We ended up using gas to clean the brushes and that worked perfectly.

This product is great. Used to paint fiberglass top of my class b camper.I was amazed of how much surface one can covered.The paint sticks to everything including my fingernails. One way to tell if product is good for sealing, how easily is it to remove from your hands.Just simply a great product!Also would like to compliment Amazon. NOBODY compares with customer service. NOBODY.

Nice color, didn't leak, nice smooth texture, decent coverage, but it takes two coats to go on.

I got this for my laundry tub (plastic, typical tub). Cleaned & sanded the bottom and sides. Rolled on one coat and let dry for 3 days. Result: looks great, but I can scratch the paint off with my thumbnail, it doesn't adhere. First time the washer exhausted water (cold, not hot) some of it released and I could see old stains beginning to come out from underneath.Tube was never used for anything greasy, no acid type chemicals, etc. Just a plain laundry tub.I understand that two coats would be better, but if the bottom coat is not adhering two coats isn't going to make any difference.[EDIT 8/01/2026] Ok, it's been 1.5 weeks since my first application. The paint is hard and tight on the tub now. It took several days to really dry and cure. 3 days wasn't enough. Upgrading my review to 5 stars. Tub looks terrific.

I live in a modest home with fiberglass showers and a tub. I'm also a widow in her mid 70s. One day I realized how dull and worn my showers were but I had no desire to have the old surrounds and tub ripped out because that would have ended up being 2 full bath remodels. I'd heard you could paint fiberglass, so I went on line and found out yes, you have to use marine paint, the type used on boats. I read the how-to's and looked at photos and reviews, and I bought the paint, rollers, etc. from Amazon. I painted my showers and tub and THEY TURNED OUT WONDERFUL! They look like they just came from Aisle 37 at Lowe's! The paint dried to the touch in a few hours, hard, bright and shiny. (Though I admit the floor of the tub took a lot longer to dry and kind of scared me. But overnight it dried thoroughly.) As for the smell several people complained about, I'm old enough to remember when all paint was oil based and stinky. It smells like paint, period. Not a big deal. You don't need a mask, goggles, fans and wide open windows. Just get over it. BTW, I had full coverage with one coat. You could do more if you want and maybe over time I'll feel the need. But it looks good to me and I have had no problem in the limited time I've been using the painted shower. Anyway, I did all that with fabulous results and I still have most of half a quart of paint left!

I like it. Excellent abrasion resistance and adhesion. I got a quart of red for and old threadbare 14' solo fiberglass canoe. I usually use petit easypoxy...this is different. Easypoxy covers better but this seems to have better abrasion resistance and it is cheaper. I started by scrubbing the canoe with the normal purple concentrated cleaner (from any autoparts or hardware store) and water. I used acetone where the registration numbers were in case they still had the original mold release in the gel coat. I added in a few kevlar skid plates with pc-7 epoxy and feathered them in. I scuffed the whole canoe hard and tacked it. I then proceeded to roll this product on foregoing the cleaner and primer that they recommended. It was a low budget job and I was covering a red gelcoat with red, so I didn't want to see primer through any future scratches. It goes on thin, don't cut edges ahead or you'll see the lap. Don't do it in sunlight or the roller will pull strings. And don't roll over areas you just completed if you see a translucent area because it will run and sag. Let it dry as they say (think it says 24hours) and scuff it down and tack it again. This is when you realize how abrasion resistant it is...it takes a lot to scuff it. I did three coats if I recall...it was 6 months ago. Had I known I would have just coated where my skid plates and patches were because they were the only areas that stood out as a different color after the second coat. I used ithe canoe quite a bit and still launched it wet because it is only paint, but I beached it a number of times and shot a handful of old beaverdams with only superficial scratches. I did dig one spot when I slid it too close to a sharp metal edge, but I rolled a strip of fresh paint over it and it blended well. It does smell so moving it outside to off-gas is a must. I'll update if it fades badly from uv but so far it's still brilliant.

RUST-OLEUM 207000 Marine Coatings Tops is a great paint with excellent coverage and quality. I originally purchased it to do some touch-ups on our baseboards, and it worked beautifully.The matte finish looks clean and smooth, and it did a fantastic job covering up stains left behind after our wood floors were refinished. It applied evenly and dried nicely without streaks.Overall, a solid buy—highly recommend for detailed or high-coverage touch-up work!

Excellent Product. Great value and quality. Goes on very easy and covers well. Battleship Grey is an excellent color for my aluminum boat.

This is a very good quality marine paint and definitely feels more durable than regular paint options. Yes, it costs a bit more, but in my opinion the extra price is absolutely worth it for the longevity and protection it provides.I used it on my canoe, and one of the main reasons I chose this paint was to avoid having to repaint every single year. The finish looks great, applies nicely, and is designed to handle the tougher outdoor and water conditions that regular paint struggles with.If you want something that lasts longer and saves time and effort in the long run, this is a solid investment for marine projects.

We use this paint on our exterior brick mold and wooden trim on our house. The last color lasted over 25 years with zero peeling or chipping

I have used Rustoleum "tub and Tile" MANY times on 3 different shower/tub enclosures to DIY and fix them up. It is a very messy thin and toxic smelling product. This is NOT any of those things. It is "thicker" so it covers better. It flows together better and DOES NOT RUN! Please take my advice and try this you will not be disappointed. I wish it was available in Canada but it is not, we are fortunate Amazon carries it for us. I am always wondering why we have such terrible products we must use in Canada as the good stuff is not made available to us. This is much easier to use as well, a beginner can easily refinish their tub/shower with one can, and giving it 2 coats as it goes very far. I see many people speak about the smell, well it smells much less then the Tub and tile product. That product smells very toxic this does not. The smell it does have disapates with in 1 hour. Good luck with your project and try this "Top side" out it will make you proud!
