100% Merino Wool Yarn, 3-Ply Luxurious and Soft Yarn for Hand Knitting & Crocheting(Khaki, 3Balls)

This 3-ply is “heavier” than their 6-ply. I’m still learning at 80! I used US9 needles, but I’d say 8-10 would be fine. This yarn has a slight “give” which I found seems to keep the stitches more uniform. It’s simply a pleasure to work with! I see a few comments about skeins being small and/or expensive - this is 100% merino from Peru, if people want cheap yarn buy acrylic and stop whining.

Great wool for crocheting!!! Its durable, soft, cute colors, and easy to crochet with as a beginner!

The wool is very nice to work with but the skeins are small for me. I wear an XL hat and the product says it will take two skeins to make an adult beanie. It took all three of the skeins and did not leave me with enough to stitch it together and cinch the crown. After using all 3 skeins and sewing and cinching it was still to small for my head so I soaked the beanie for 15 minutes and patted dry, then I wore it for about 2 hours and then stuffed some t shirts into it to keep the shape while it dries, it fits nicely now.

Superb quality wool yarn. I absolutely LOVE the texture and feel of it. It’s strong and well made and the color is perfect. I’m a beginner at knitting LOL but I love the look and feel of it so much. I prefer this 100% merino wool yarn over acrylic for sure. The thickness is perfect. They have a nice variety of colors too. Ordering the light grey next! Update: the green is amazing!!

This yarn is great for crocheting nice warm hats. Comes in a 3 pack which makes it a great value. It’s very light weight and does not split or tangle!

Color and thickness is true. Definitely not 100% merino feels more like an acrylic wool blend but I can still touch it without feeling like vomiting (i have sensory issues). It handles well so far I've got about 6 rows of a hat crocheted w it no problem.

This is very pricy yarn but it is beautiful and so soft. I love wools natural antibacterial properties but sometimes find it itchy on my skin so I only use this yarn for toques, balaclava’s, and other projects that will be in direct contact with my neck and face. I have repurchased and would definitely recommend, but due to the price advise purchasers to be selective with the projects they choose to use it for.
