I was very impressed when I opened the package. It looks well made, is as fast as advertised, has a sturdy appearance and so far so good. It's still fast and worth a look!

Super portable, low power, extremely fast for what it is.When on sale it's an extremely hard to pass deal if you need a huge flash drive.I use it for putting media on my TV, and for that it's been great!

This drive is plenty fast, enough to work off of. It feels high quality and the leather sachet is nice. But this drive gets hot and when unplugging the casing will separate from the board leading to hassle. I bent the tabs on the collar to hold the casing better and haven't had separation issues since.

Best usb drive I ever bought. The usb -c part of it is super fast, so transferring files from phone is easy. It'll do 12gb in less than 30 seconds.& it's reliable I've used it everyday for 3 months, no problems. But it does get pretty hot but I don't think it affects it to much. I just wouldn't leave in a device for weeks on end.

The price was good and the extra storage makes life easier.

I was hoping this drive would ease the transfer of pics and files from my iPhone to PC. I’ve had problems with corded transfer in the past (especially with large quantities of files), thus using an intermediate storage device was the next option to try. So let’s discuss my experience with this drive:Pros: I very much like the look and feel of this drive. It has a rugged metal casing and the swing caps provide solid protection of the usb ports. I was afraid the caps would interfere with the phone case but they swing quite far out of the way. Overall, nice construction.Cons: Unfortunately, in spite of the solid build, I had two problems with this drive. The first is a minor annoyance where the magnet used to hold the USB swing cap in place was not glued. As a result, the magnet stuck to the USB port instead and didn’t stay with the cap. After first opening, the cap no longer held in place. Aside from that minor cap issue, the biggest problem is that the drive’s performance is POOR. Transfer of pics is slow, and doesn’t always complete (fails more often than not!). Even selecting a small number of pics doesn’t resolve the poor performance problems. Then, once I was able to get some pics loaded and transferred, it doesn’t let me delete the files from the drive! This is a major problem as I do not have control as to what stays on the drive and what gets deleted. As a result, I had to give 1 star as it does not do well in its primary function.

First the positives: 1. it's pretty fast 2. it's seemingly durable with it's metal case. 3. comes right up as a 1 tb ex-fat partition 4. has a usb-c plug.(5) it's a little cheaper than the name-brand competition. Still pricey for what it is though.Now the negs:1. it gets hot. No, like really hot.2. the metal flap over the usb 3.0 male plug flaps around without locking as the smaller one for usb-c plug does (could my dongle be defective?).3. The large metal flap over the usb 3.0 male plug can get in the way of adjacent usb ports, either blocking the dongle from being inserted or blocking other ports.4. The dongle comes with a (cheesy) plastic key chain, which is an added goodie. However, there's no hole present on the flash drive itself to attach the key chain. I guess this isn't really a neg, since it in no way effects the dongle or its operation, but it does mean there's no way to attach the dongle to a ring of any sort. Use the key chain for the keys to your Porsche instead.I can't comment on durability as I've only used it for a couple of days, but rest assured, if it dies on me, I'll update this review.UPDATE: It's pretty useless now. At least the keychain still works.

It's very easy to use and fast, powerful enough to take as many photos as you want without taking up space on your phone, I recommend this product to anyone who wants to transfer photos from their phone to other devices.
