Trade Acrylic Primer Undercoat - White 750ml

Can't mention anything cause there was no undercoat in the box only plastic but what I can say is I'm absolutely disgusted. The only reason I put 1 star is because it wouldn't let me submit my review

Been using this paint for years. Gives a great finish. Easy to wipe down, fingers prints. With out, the paint coming off. With a damp cloth. Long Lasting. Fast drying. Easy to clean off, brush and roller. As its water based. Great on doors. Matt finish. No odur. Lovely finish. Highly recommended.

I used this primer undercoat as I was painting bathroom walls from medium blue to bright white. I thought it would be a good idea to use an undercoat to help offset the darker colour but I',m not sure if it was actually needed. After 2 coats, you could still clearly see the underlying blue wall and it was only after I used the actual bathroom paint that the blue was concealed. I'm inclined to think it would have been better for me to just use an extra coat of bathroom paint but the final result is good so I'm not complaining!

This primer does the job of setting up a base to enable you to apply a top coat over it. Overall the product is ok very little smell if any at all, I am a little nose blind though. I bought to paint onto a set of medium brown coloured wardrobe doors. The first coat showed a lot of the brown through and a second coat was required. The tin only just lasted to covering the wardrobe which you could argue is the right size tin for the job but I like to have a little excess in case it’s required but this tin was empty after the second coat so was a little bit anxious coming to the end of the job. There is another size up but that was way too much it would be nice to have a size in between. It’s important to remember that this item is not supposed to deliver a finished painted surface this is more for the prep stage before applying your colour for that it does what is expected but I did have to apply an extra top coat to ensure an even colour across the surfaces as the darker colour was still slightly visible through the primer. Would I recommend this product. For small jobs yes I think it works well but needs a few more coats on darker surfaces to get the desired effect. Anything bigger than a wardrobe I would get the larger tin to enable enough coats or look at more expensive one coat priming options. Seller experience was good as expected

It flows easily, even in cool weather and it cleans off the brush easily. Obliteration is not brilliant bearing in mind it is also called a 'undercoat'. As a primer it is just fine but you need to lay it on thick to get away without an undercoat when covering dark wood.

Great quality thick primer with amazing coverage. Was painting varnished solid wood doors white and this did the trick to prep them wonderfully.
