Build quality: They’re lightweight particle board, but the paint/finish is consistent and the edges are clean. Once mounted, they sit flush and don’t sag. Each shelf is rated for around 20 lbs, but realistically they’re best for lightweight décor, figures, books, or small collectibles. Use case: I’m currently installing the rest of the set and will be using them to display Gundam kits. The lip design is perfect for models because it keeps bases from sliding forward while still showing the full figure.
