RMS Premium Leg Lifter with Hand Strap and Foot Loop, 42 Inch

The RMS Premium 42” Leg Lifter has been a must-have after knee surgery. It makes it much easier to lift and move the leg without strain, especially during early recovery. The hand strap and foot loop are sturdy and comfortable to use. Simple but incredibly helpful tool for rehabilitation.

I just had my second hip replacement, and this one was a doozy. I was really trying to not order a bunch of stuff I didn't need, and I was happy to find this outside of the $40-something packages with all the other things I don't need. I was pleasantly surprised to open this and see that there is a metal wire fed through this, making it stiff (not floppy) so I can easily get it on my foot. I envisioned having make several attempts to lasso it onto my foot. I'm sure it probably stated that somewhere, but being in pain I certainly wasn't reading all the details and I had no idea they came like this so I wouldn't have know any other way. For people like me, I took the pic of me holding it in the air to see it comes like this. It's basically nylon dog leash material. It's not the best material in terms of how it's made (dog owners know what im talking about, the dollar store leash's loose nylon vs a $60 nylon leash from PetSmart), but it's not a dog leash so it can be made cheaper. It's perfect for what it is and for what it's used for. It doesn't make it or break it, but it's good to know. Someone may prefer a better nylon one if they're heavier set. This is super helpful during the time where your muscles are weak, but you're supposed to be stretching and exercising. It's perfect to be able to maneuver your leg onto a pillow or slightly to the left or right (because you can't easily do that after this surgery). All that said, I am rating this as a 5-star item for ME and my needs. It's perfect for me. It's super helpful.

This leg lifter is awesome! Anyone who is planning to get a hip replacement needs to buy one. It really does help keep your leg straight to get in and out of your bed. This is one of those after hip surgery tools that every orthopedic surgeon should recommend!

So glad I got this I had knee surgery this week and I'm locked in a straight brace with mostly no weight baring for 2 weeks thankful I'm in pretty good shape other than my injury but this leg lifter has been a life saver I've used it so much the last 2 days getting on and off my bed without it, it takes twice the energy to move so glad it was recommended for my shopping cart based on other post op supplies I got 4 stars i would buy again and recommend Only small issues is the wire inside it is flexible it won't go completely straight and has a couple kinks in it over the day it bends out of shape and I have to re straighten it a few times a day and its a little harder than I'd like

This is one of the easier aids to use if you have a weak leg, or an operative leg that needs assistance to lift up. I recommended this device to a relative who has trouble getting her leg into bed. This has metal inside making it easy to insert your foot into the loop.

This is certainly sufficient to do the job. It has a bendable wire inside, allowing you to position it, not only to pick up your leg, but if you were in a seated position or laying position. Being stiff, helps you put it on over shoes and so it doesn’t drop to the floor. I dropped it by accident and the stiffness is what helped me pick it up without having to bend all the way over Very affordable and very good product. My only criticism is that it is the material of a tieback strap. I was hoping a personal product would have a soft more comfortable look and feel. I am 5’7” and this was a perfectly suitable size.

I had a traditional knee replacement and I couldn't lift my leg without help and this helped me get in to bed and car and shower. Eliminated my pain when lifting leg. Highly recommend for knee surgery or hip replacement.

I didn't think I needed this after my hip replacement surgery, but I am glad I bought it. I am young and strong but felt weak after my surgery, so this helped me get in and out of bed easily during the first couple of days. It was also helpful to have beside my bathtub to have a shower on my bath bench. It's design is simple with a thin metal rod sandwiched between the webbing on the foot hold and though the length of the strap which makes leg lifting easier.

Just what I needed

Since I returned my "faulty" leg lifter with the wire sticking out and received a new one, OMG - I am so grateful for this tool!! I just had a total knee replacement and leg reconstruction on July 13th. This new leg lifter is an amazing help. I would recommend this to everyone who has to lift their leg after surgery. I have reservations about how long this device will last when you are bending it regularly so you can store it in the car. Otherwise it does the job required, but getting it off your foot is not so easy
