vancasso Salad Plates Set of 6, 8.5 Inch Ceramic, Microwave Safe

Bought these as a housewarming gift for my Daughter’s Shore house. Supply chain problems caused a lot of delays with the completion, but now they are making up for lost time and doing a lot of entertaining. Since the number of people who might show up on any given weekend is usually anyone’s guess, a Mexican Fiesta Buffet is one of Daughter’s go-to solutions for feeding a lot of people on short notice and keeping the mood festive. Even though these plates are advertised as Bohemian design, the first thing I thought when I saw them was Cinco de Mayo! Now I admit this design is a bit bright for my tastes, all dinner plates in our house are plain white, but my daughter who is much trendier than me really likes them, and she is VERY particular about what she puts out in front of her guests. A little more about the plates; these really have a nice quality feel and heft to them. They do not look or feel like the cheap plates you would get at a large discount store. The colors are vibrant, and the finish is excellent. My daughter recently used them while hosting some friends (see pic) and some of the things she said she really liked was that the plates were both conventional oven and microwave oven safe. She loved being able to put the plate of loaded nachos into the oven to warm them back up. Being dishwasher safe made clean-up a snap.

Very nice quality and color.

Beautiful dishes, beautifully made! Have received so many compliments.

Beautiful plates, sturdy.

They really are as beautiful as everybody said! Sometimes I don’t like everything matching, but I do prefer a theme and that’s exactly how I could describe these very colorful, artistic plates, perfect size for dinner or cake or salad! I’m so glad that it’s microwavable because I was looking for a plate. That’s very pretty But that’s microwavable and nice to serve my Moroccan food in because it looks Moroccan, Turkish & Mediterranean!!

I already have the complete set of these dishes (dinner and sandwich plates, cereal and larger bowls, platters, etc.) and I LOVE them. The color is amazing. Dishwasher safe but also cleans easily by hand. I chipped one of the dinner plates so I ordered this set of dinner plates to make sure I had replacements while they were still in stock. Everyone who sees them loves them.

Fine quality, beautiful, and I do recieve compliments on them. They are heavy [thick] enough to evoke confidence in their durability. This size is perfect for desserts, salads, a sandwich and chips, etc. Love ALL the Vancasso ware!

I love these plates! (I ordered the large bowls too.) They're a great size for cutting portions, and the beautiful colors make me smile. Everything looks good on these plates - even a completely boring salad. I've been using them in both the microwave and the dishwasher with no fading, cracking, or chipping. I need to see what other items are available in this pattern - maybe I'll replace my entire set of boring dishes with these bright and cheerful pieces!

Love love love these. Been using daily for 6 months now and the quality is unbeatable. They go through the dishwasher every night , no chips or wear observed.

Great plates as advertised arrived on time well packed

Super cute! Love them!
